@mariomaster96 The only other thing I can think of, which I didn't put in my original comment, is they may have undertracked shipment data from a previous fiscal year, so they're just correcting it. In which case the headline here would be wrong lol.
@mariomaster96 I'm guessing the 3DS games are still moving a few units as well since they're still available, but I can't imagine that takes up much more, maybe like 1% of that. I do have to wonder where the rest of these sales could possibly be coming from.
Pikmin 3 (and by extension Deluxe, being the best version of 3) is easily my favorite, and one of my top 5 favorite video games of all time. It's an absolutely incredible experience with impeccable design and delight.
The original is also amazing though, and I love it's atmosphere. Some of the areas feel surreal in a unique way only Pikmin can capture. 2 is my least favorite mainly because I think the caves can be a slog at times, and it messes with the pacing of the game. I do enjoy some of the outside areas though, and I like the new Pikmin types introduced there. (Even if the new ones in 3 are better)
@tangeraniumm It's not really much of a tough sell when you consider how much better OLED screens are compared to the standard LED the current Switch has. (Unless you've never seen an OLED screen in person, but there's a reason OLED TVs are like hundreds more than their counterparts even when they're otherwise the same TV)
That said...yeah going more than $50 of a gap is probably too much unless they're planning to sell the OLED for lower than the announced price as well.
Really happy to see Jenny LeClue being included here, I feel like that game went under a lot of people's radar. It definitely feels more aimed at kids for the first half or so given how the story goes and the simple nature of the gameplay, but it's SUCH a good story and the dialogue and voice work is incredible
Super Mario Land 2 is the most underrated 2D Mario by far, and is probably in my top 2. That and World were an easy 10 for me! Meanwhile, Lost Levels is my least favorite, and I gave it a 5. Not because it's too punishing, but rather because it's unfairly so. I've tried playing through that game many many times, and I constantly get stuck and unable to progress on many occasions solely due to the poor level design.
@Chowdaire Not sure I see how Triple Deluxe is in any way generic, I always found it to be the complete opposite, which is why I was so pleasantly surprised by it. It's probably one of the least generic games in the series, and pushes the boundaries for level design in Kirby. It's my second favorite in the series for that reason, and certainly leagues beyond Star Allies. (In my opinion, of course)
