As someone who is the father of two small children, I've seen my share of animated movies. If you're judging this movie by that standard, it still doesn't really hold up to the best ones.
This honestly looks over-built compared to the first one. I did bite the bullet and buy the first belkin one and I love it. It's very well built and durable, the little battery pack in it is easily removable. I can stand the switch 2 up in it very easily, without needed to plug it in (though I can plug it in while it's standing if I need to).
This one one looks to have a whole, much bigger, stand contraption. It looks like I'd have to have the switch plugged in to use the stand contraption. And since the battery indicator pokes outside the case now, it feels less optional to have the battery in it, since if I didn't have the stand in the case, there would be a hole.
It really doesn't look like a step up at first glance, gonna be honest.
I feel like all this hand-wringing over "spoilers" has gotten to a ridiculous level. Is the SMG movie really going to be spoiled just by knowing a character is in it? Is it that serious or "spoilerable" movie that it even matters?

@Jeronan
Of course you can have better kids movies.
Toy Story? Encanto? Moana? All of these have better more interesting characters and stories.
Even more recently, Hoppers is frikin' hilarious and really good for both adults and kids.
