Re: First Impressions: Scribblenauts Unlimited

Yellowgerbil

@LavaTwilight, scribblenaughts is a massive timewaster and very fun. You can create literally anything and then they can be used (a laser gun you could pick up and destroy your other creations such as a sea monster or dragon). The things you make could be gods, clothing, monsters, weapons and buildings!
The only fault I could find in the game was when it couldn't make the object but this will be resolved in unlimited.

Re: Talking Point: The Good and Bad Sides of Moderating Miiverse

Yellowgerbil

emiru69, you are absolutely correct and it is a great pity....
But they could have things like 6-7 years old; they are able to see messages like on the Super Mario Bros U demo. 8-10 are able to see messages from people their own age but no video chat and, interlaced with parental controls for safety. 11-14 year olds able to see messages from people their own age and video chat with friends. 15-16 can message with anyone their age and above but still only able to video chat with friends. 17+ can do anything. Note, these could all be filtered from swear words and everyone would have to give identity.

Re: E3 2012: Nintendo's 3DS Software Showcase Live

Yellowgerbil

I actually liked the E3 presentation (pikmin 3), but the Nintendo direct presentation was just rehashed software. Although I did get more interested in Luigi's Mansion 2 (Dark Moon). I don't play AC but I do know what it's like to be in that situation (MH3G) so I am sorry for you guys.

Re: Reaction: Ubisoft Bets Big On Wii U

Yellowgerbil

I watched most of it last night, up to the assasins creed demo, and if ubisoft make extra features to it, the other consoles version will be inferior and will give Microsoft the kick in the pants it deserves.
Rayman Legends looked absolutely epic and I was bobbing along to the music stage.

Re: Wii U Designed to Do The Impossible

Yellowgerbil

I think that nintendo needs to release another allstars game such as both galaxy games on the wiiu in 1080p and with a few more levels. Also I think they need to justify the connectivity between 3DS and WII U because most people will not buy both (although I would XD). They need to make the ability of swapping club nintendo stars (or coins) into WII U and 3DS money.

Re: Talking Point: Does Nintendo Finally 'Get' Digital?

Yellowgerbil

I find the idea of all my games on one system very appealing, more so for my 3ds because then I will be able to play all my games on the 3ds without lifting a finger. I also have an excellent idea, your 3ds should be able to suck the cartridges that you all ready own dry of information and keep them on the 3ds. Then you should be able to sell them back to ninty who would use them to put more info on the cartridge.

Re: 3DS Celebrates First Birthday in Europe

Yellowgerbil

(Sniff) 3DS we have come so far (sob). But seriously it is an amazing console and because I got my 3DS on the 20 of april, I use it all the time because of the ambassador program. I really hope MH3G comes to the west though. Happy Bday Buddy!

Re: WayForward: "eShop a Major Part of Our Plan"

Yellowgerbil

They are very good but some developers have bettered them in a number of ways, (apart from Aliens Infestation). and while they have many great titles for dsiware and the eshop, there games are taken over by say nintendo, sega and capcom. But they do have lots of great games so don't think I'm trolling.

Re: Round Table: Looking Ahead to Nintendo in 2012

Yellowgerbil

The 3DS really needs a good games coming out every other month, because 3ds games are quite short (except Mario Kart 7). For example;
Super Mario 3D Land, I'd completed it with five stars in less than a month.

I think nintendo need these games in europe spread out over the year;
Professor Layton and The Mask of Miracle, Kid Icarus uprising, A Zelda, Monster hunter 3G, Tekken and The rolling western to get the 3DS rolling.

Thinking about the WII U, I keep on replaying in my head what Miyamoto said about Pikmin 3 and Super Smash Bros (might be Universe).

Re: 3DS to Hit 4 Million Sold in Japan Sooner Than Expected

Yellowgerbil

Great! Now how about tri g for the west. The reason not many people are buying is because they already have a DS or PSP. So many parents will just say "you have a handheld already". So no-matter what nintendo, microsoft or sony do, people will already have a fun portable console.
