All I want to know is if this game is anything like Driver 3's Free Ride? If that is the case, no matter how broken, I shall buy it.
[edit] Ah, it is stated in the review that it doesn't. Sad, since that is what makes Driver so fun for me. The crazy cops, and the whacked out glitches, while you run around with an arsenal of weaponry appearing to the common soulless civilian as an everyday joe.
I have a couple fun halloween memories. While earthbound as a whole isn't halloweeny, I like playing the Threed part in October especially. The ghost area in Super Mario 64 is pretty creepy too. For some reason, I always feel like I'm in way more danger down there than I am. Some of my favourite creep out awesome games are Silent Hill 2 and 3, mainly 2, but those are non-nintendo system games.
I had Scooby Doo game on SNES when I was a kid and it was hard back then and kinda scary too. I think I might try to conquer the dreaded Scooby Doo game this year!
I'd honestly love to play all the games on this list. Cave Story 3D is probably the lowest priority, but I'd like to play it. But, alas, money. I'll probably get Bit.Trip Saga first.
I have a fond memory of reaching the first boss in Metroid Prime. It was just so huge, and seeing a boss like that was incredible since Metroid bosses were all 2D. I felt like they really wanted you to feel the difference in what kind of Metroid game this was by giving you such an epic battle for your first boss.
Sounds like a blast and I shall continue to look forward to stateside release. Excellent review; I'm glad you went so far as to include even the game's manual, because those sorts of things are very important, too. Great to hear that they include lots of cool info, I hope North America's does.
I will be buying all three of these games, whether Nintendo of America releases them or not. It's their decision whether or not they get my money, or Europe does.
There isn't much I can think of I would want on it, in terms of games, since you can obtain several Zelda games in the Virtual Console. I'd like to see one for any extra goodies they might throw in. Instead of doing the same thing as Mario, why not just release an art book with other cool stuff. I'd be fine with that.
This is how video game developers are supposed to treat fans. I almost have no words for this.
@EmpireIndustries While they do realize that they will earn more money by re-releasing the games on the 3DS in pretty much original format, they aren't simply re-releasing them. The 3D is nice and everything, but really, making them portable changes the experience you can have with the games. They're so fun and addicting, but you eventually have to put them down. That changes with Bit.Trip Saga.
This game seems to have a retro Sega charm to it that makes it look interesting to me. I hope the motion controls with the finished product don't drag the game down. If they do hinder a bit, I hope an improved sequel rolls around.
I'm in the range of -Price is high(Although if I truly loved something, price is but an obstacle). -Not the color I want/hoping for a cool special ediiton 3DS. -Satisfied with/still need DS games and buying a system that doesn't exclusively hold some of those games doesn't really make me want to buy it immediately.
I'll get a 3DS soon enough, but I'm really trying to get the most games I can and have the most fun possible, and there are a lot of good ones still out there.
@JayceJa Yeah, I feel pretty much the same. I'm not super interested, but anything on the 3DS right now is worth following up on, and this game could be cool.
Not the one I chose, but still cool. I was debating between this, the more orange one, and the one with no people on it. I ultimately chose the one lacking humans.
There's a good bit of stuff that makes this seem more fake than real. What makes me disbelieve it the most is how similar the controllers are compared to rumour mock-ups. Hype is so delicious; trying to get underneath Nintendo's veils is mega fun too! I love this stuff.
2 is my favourite of the original 3. I didn't play Super Mario Bros. as a youngin' much, so if anyone is trying to see a pattern in the likes or dislikes of the Mario games and why, hope I helped some.
A friend of mine really hates this game. Really hates it. But another of my pals just gifted me it for my birthday. I've never tried it so I'm hoping for the best. After reading this review, I feel as though I may enjoy it.
Angry Birds dev knows they're more than just plastic, why would you even expect someone to take that seriously? Nintendo also has way more titles under $49.99 than at it. While a good bit are that way at launch, most of their prices drop pretty reasonably.

Re: Review: Pilotwings Resort (3DS)
Pilotwings music keeps me loving the series. Glad to hear gameplay is enjoyable cause I would hate to buy a 3DS game, built for 3D, as just a CD.
