Re: Analyst Thinks Nintendo Is Already Winding Down Wii U Ahead Of Nintendo NX Launch

Check sony and microsoft trends because they are the competition. When I move you move...just like that.

All parties have a cycle plan for their devices. How long can I push this device before some other tech overshadows renders the its tech obsolete. this is not neccesarily more powerful systems. E.G. WiiU has a little more power than the ps3 and uses a fraction of the electricity in a smaller case.

Sony has a 10 year plan for the ps4. Microsoft feels confident they can match. They are taking from their other departments to invest heavily into their devices. Nintendo only developing software and hardware for their own products limit their room showboating in this sense. They have to be more tactful. its why the y region lock their devices and release multiple models. to milks resources until they have enough to build the next (NX) best thing.

the new 3ds was released to inspired an warm you up to the "NX" device nintendo is creating. Rumors 2 years ago was a console that was portable but connected with the tv...and eliminated the barrier between console and handheld. The WiiU when you look at it it just the ds in console form, and the new 3ds with dual thumb stick and addition should button is but a creeping step toward a handheld console.

the move to mobile by nintendo lets you know that the NX device that nintendo has coming is going to be apart of that model.

but nintendo is going to use the nx two years getting loyal customers accustomed to the new model. expect more dlc, more free to start games, and nfc products. along with the usual suspects ( mario, metroid, zelda, and indie titles)

I guess at this point i see what the analyst is trying to confer. The WiiU isnt any more dead than the ps4 and xbone nintendo is still drawing profit. (slowly but surely) But nintendo is showing signs of warming up their NX console and business model. The drop in 1st party title just isnt the trend to look at for that conclusion though.

@Yorumi You are right i am calling him a troll because he seems like he just looking for attention. He used one simple trend to make his claim rather than the average all the nintendo trends for as far back as 2001. He failed to include e3 as a factor. The indie game promotion. and the xbone and ps4 trends as well. if he gets paid to do this stuff... it seems like he would be a little more thorough lol

The analyst is a troll. Nintendo is still on track for its 6 year plan for the wii u. We already knew nintendo was working on a new console. The NX announcement was just a public reminder that they were still at work. They arent going to show anything official until E3 2016...and then release the device in 2018...just like the cube, ds, 3ds, wii, and wii u. If Zelda is delayed its to one make the game as good as possible and determine the best way to release it without cannibalizing the sales of other games. if its delayed until 2016 it will release only as a pacifier to sate the appetite stirred after the official NX release. Nintendo has been around for damn near 200 years they know how money is made and they know how to do business. Them do business lol
