Re: Yusuke Hashimoto Talks Star Fox Zero and Collaborating with Nintendo

I couldn't imagine Pit in Bayonetta, they are from completely different worlds and the hierarchy of their heavens and hell are completely different. In theory Pit could exist in Bayonetta's lore as some incarnation of one of the angels at some point through human history. The angels in Bayonetta are actually hideous monsters with masks and armor to hide their true forms, they are also equally as menacing as the Demons from inferno and way more deceptive; so Skyworld would contradict this depiction of Paradisio.

I had an idea that she could fight Ganon and have him turned into a weapon. Perhaps Bayonetta 3 could include a number of optional bosses to obtain optional weapons. I think Ganon, Ridley and Giga Bowser could be great candidates for this, it's clear that these kind of cameos do work in Bayonetta games.

Re: Pokkén Tournament Will Feature 2-Player Local Multiplayer

This is how Hyrule warriors did local multiplayer. I'm the gamepad user too and I can't really offer a complaint about it. The lower definition is noticeable, but depending on how long your arms are and how close you sit to the TV normally I can assure that the screen size isn't an issue.

Honestly though, I see no reason they couldn't include a split-screen option as well and leave it up to player preference. It's not like HW where split-screen would actually hinder both players.

Re: Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow Are Coming To The 3DS Virtual Console on 27th February, 2016

I still have my original yellow and pokemon stadium, I like it on the big screen. Although I've never been able to get all 151 pokemon in yellow because I was too young when my little brother had Blue to consider it and our older brother sold red when I got yellow. I have 2 3DS systems so I'll get red+blue on my old one and yellow on my N3DS and finally catch em' all!
Hopefuly GSC get released later next year so I can 100% my childhood!

Re: Video: Toadette Takes to the Court in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash as Yo-Kai Watch Focuses on Weirdness

Hopefully Yo Kai pushes Gamefreak to embrace us westerners more when they see we wont replace them so easily. I imagine its gonna be somewhat popular but if there are more of these "Cheeksqueek" styled/named monsters I'm going to say it will be received as more of a childrens game, pokemon has never used toilet humor to appeal.
I'm still figuring out exactly how this game is gonna feel but so far I'm not impressed, I'm wondering if any of the creatures will actually have roots with traditional mysticism. If they are all basic elemental+animals and weakly inspired creatures (anusmonster) I can't imagine any of them would get to be Pikachu-iconic in this day and age. The main creatures we've seen (like that gumpy-looking cat) don't look like designs westerners will particularly enjoy, at least not those of us aged in double digits.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Delays With My Nintendo and Miitomo are Disappointing, but Not Disastrous

Travisty3

I feel like a lot of the mobile games will be able to interact somehow with console games and be inspired by the source material, if this does happen Star Fox would be the perfect first try, but I hope they would have some unique games that don't have a console game alongside them too.

Does anyone think its only natural for Nintendo to, either on their own or through partnership, develop their own smartphone? Microsoft and Sony already have their phones, it could compete and I would buy it, as long as it was still android, I'd be very wary if they developed their own system, windows phones taught me this.

I have no real interest in Miitomo so far, not big on social media, but I'm happy Nintendo seems to be going all-out entering into the smart phone realm.
