Ultimate is good, but not great and more flawed than I expected. It feels more like Smash 4 Deluxe, online features are lacking, no taunting in quick battles, no character changes when doing rematches online, world of light is too easy most of the time. Basically you don't need any spirits for most of the battles, only for some real cheap ones. No need to change characters at all, Kirby does the job.
Who the hell even uses the Switch with each of the joycons for a seperate player? I did that like two times.
I either play in handheld or (mostly) docked with the Pro controller and the joycons still attached. I barely ever remove the joycons. Only for Puyo Puyo Tetris because the D-pad on the pro controller is broken.
That whole 'game with your friends on the go and on parties!!11' from the promo videos never happens in real life. The concept was cool, but it just isn't how people use the device.
@Mykillvee It's not comparable to the PS4/Xbox, it just isn't. It's more comparable to the Wii U, but a bit faster and way sleeker. That's ok.
The Switch already has a hard time running Doom, and that's a game from 2016. I'd rather have an exclusive Switch game than some sub 30fps 480p running port with heavily compressed audio that for some reason costs full price on the Switch compared to $10 on the other consoles. It's cool that it's running on a tiny console, but that's about it.
@diablo2 Just look at the best selling games. Still Nintendo games by a huge margin. The Nintendo games sell about 10 times more than the best selling third party games. Then add the difficulties of porting to weaker hardware and the much smaller online userbase (PS Plus has 34 million subscribers, Xbox Live on the consoles probably also way bigger) and worse online features.
Just the storage issues alone make it a headache. Blackops 4 is 100GB installed. Single player FPS games might be reasonable at 30FPS, but multiplayer focused shooters kinda need 60fps.
So the only real option would be to make a special version for the Switch or beefed up Wii U games. I just don't see either of it happen.
I wished Nintendo would just invest in a great second or third party FPS game that is not like Metroid Prime. Or have the Splatoon team working on a new more serious FPS franchise. Or invest in a new Timesplitters or something.
@DoctorWily I played BotW and MK8 on the Wii U. Would've double dipped if they offered some reasonable discount, but not going to pay full price. Plus, I still love my Wii U
No dub is great. Had to play the fanmade undubbed Shin Megami Tensei games on the 3DS. Can't stand English voices in a game that takes place in Japan. Hooray for hackers.
BTW this game will be great for collectors. A fairly niche, but fan favorite franchise getting a release this late in the life cycle of the console will probably not sell well. But will be looked after in a few years.
Dr Mario always felt like one of the weakest puzzle games.
You got Tetris, Puyo Puyo, Puzzle Fighter, Tetris Attack, Lumines, Panic Bomber and so on... and at the end it's Dr Mario. It's slow, little strategy and no real versus play.
@Mykillvee Actually it won't. The CoD games on the Wii and Wii U did not sell well compared to the Xbox/PS versions. Different demographics. The Wii U games were amazing though. Local multiplayer with the tablet was bad ass.

Wave Race
Just kidding, probably a 2D platformer
Re: Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth On 3DS Won’t Include English Voice Work
English dubs remove all character and authenticity from Japanese games. Makes it sound like a generic sunday morning cartoon.

Re: Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet Won’t Be Released In Europe Or North America
All they have to do to counter the SJW's is adding some male characters with their big D's swinging when they jump up. That would be awesome
