Re: Soapbox: 'Switch 2' Doesn't Really Need Backwards Compatibility

TerinoMan

I wholeheartedly disagree with the author. In my opinion, it's essential for the Switch successor to have backwards compatibility. The switch is such an exceptional console with a massive amount of games and it would be a shame that these games will be limited only to the switch.

As many have mentioned, the Switch's successor not having backwards compatibility will deter me from buying it immediately.

Re: Talking Point: Which Nintendo IP Should 'Switch 2' Launch With?

TerinoMan

All of them. Or like a cluster of a bunch of their classic ones including dormant IPs and then throw in a bunch of new IP as well.

Imagine Mario, Zelda, DK, Metroid, Fzero, StarFox, Smash, The usual party or sports games and new IPs at launch a "gamegasm?" lol. Something that everyone would be excited about.

Re: Never-Before-Seen Footage Of Scrapped Official GameCube LCD Screen Uncovered

TerinoMan

I used to have an INTEC Gamecube screen back in the day that I got from ToysR'Us, well two to be exact. I remember that it had a video cable that connected directly into to GameCube and also a port that you can connect a composite cable to it. After a couple of days the cable got messed up so I got a replacement and I guess that I got an older model and the picture quality wasn't as good as the first one so after a few days I also returned that one and just got store credit and bought a whole bunch of board games.

Re: Best Of 2022: Which Zelda Game Should You Play First?

TerinoMan

I think that the best starting point for a Zelda Game can be between OOT or Alttp, but I'm leaning towards OOT because it's gives you a great base in terms of the lore and story. I personally don't think Botw is a great game to start out with because it may create a false expectation that all Zelda games are like that, don't get me wrong, Botw is one of my favorite games but, that's just how I see it.
