I fully understand the concerns but I remain moderately optimistic. The mobile game is the responsibility of the studio that made the game for Squaresoft that allowed the revival of the SagaFrontier brand. To make Suikoden 6, you need to increase the fan base and this can only be achieved through a mobile game because this market is currently larger than consoles and mainly young people from Asia play here. I believe in success and that we will get 6 on consoles. I will support this project because I like that Konami has a plan for it. This is not a cash grab because they are returning to producing games seriously, as evidenced by the Silent Hill remake and the announcement of the new part as well as the opening of the studio in Osaka.
@Reptilio @Reptilio Thank you sir, I'm glad to read that. I've ordered it too, of course, I'll pick it up this week, I've just finished remaster of my beloved Suikoden 1 and close to finish 2, I'm a loyal fan, although I understand that not everyone will like them. And now I'm a loyal fan of Monolith Software. Also because they're famous for their very good approach to employees and work-life balance in their policy, which is not an everyday occurrence in Japan!
Fans who have been begging for a remaster of this game for years now have a moral obligation to buy it soon I think it will sell a million copies. Which gives hope for a sequel.
Considering how great this game is and when the original + all the re-releases were made, 5 million is a smaller number than I had assumed. However, achieving huge sales success on a JRPG is a challenge. Nevertheless, congratulations!
Great remaster and many important changes (fixing translation errors from the Japanese version!). Some people are really exaggerating with their complaints. The game is still as fun as it was 25 years ago. Additionally, in the most beautiful setting so far
Very good remaster, it's nice that Konami listened to the fans here. I also appreciate a few conveniences (e.g. the ability to buy products in the store that in the original you had to look for a long time). Of course, they could have added a few more things and somehow symbolically honored Sensei Murayama (RIP), but I'm very happy and I dream of good sales.
@Kestrel Suikoden IV isn't that bad, they honored Ted and Rune of Punishment. The ability to disable or manipulate the frequency of fights along with the option to speed them up would greatly enhance the experience of this game
An entire meeting dedicated to the remaster and perhaps a symbolic tribute to Murayama (RIP). His story is truly extraordinary. As a new joiner in a hierarchical society and company, he was allowed to design a game that became one of Konami's icons. An incredible achievement.
A meeting dedicated to the remaster and the announcement of the Suikoden III remaster
The announcement of Suikoden VI...
The 2nd and 3rd possibilities would mean that pre-order sales exceeded all scenarios (I hope so!) I'm specifically buying after the premiere to increase the numbers.

@Daniel36 Same for me, but Suikoden 2 will remain number 1 for me.
