@BAN Not every game is for every person but if you think it looks fun, you might want to give it another try. Watch a few low level "tips" videos and run through some of the training. I gave up on it at first then came back later and really enjoy it now. I'm not good by any means but I'm no longer just flailing around and it is really fun.
@Jokerwolf Same here! No interest in piracy or hacking in online games but I'm excited to setup a nice portable retro-Switch until Nintendo finally starts releasing SNES, N64, and GC games. I also might play around with some of the Skyrim modding that was going around awhile back.
@AG_Awesome I own Sky Rogue on PC and would say it is more sim-like than Rogue Squadron or Star Fox. If you're looking for something closer to those two games, I'd go with Manticore. That said, Sky Rogue is awesome, I'll be picking it up on the Switch.
@justin233 I haven't played the WW1game but I own Manticore on the Switch and Sky Rogue on PC. They're pretty different games. Manticore has a story and is very arcadey (think Rogue Squadron or Star Fox). Sky Rogue has no story but is more sim-like (think X-Wing or Ace Combat). If I had to buy one, I'd get Sky Rogue because I prefer the more realistic flight mechanics but I also really enjoy the swoshy combat and nice graphics of Manticore. Keep in mind that both of these games aren't as fully fleshed out as the games I compared them too. I think both are fun and worth the $20 (I'll be double dipping on Sky Rogue after finishing a Cert next week) but they aren't AAA titles.

Edit: Rogue not Rouge...
Re: Review: Sky Rogue (Switch eShop)
Loved this game on PC. Definitely worth a double dip to have it on the go. Does it allow for remapping of buttons?
