@ParrakerriRush Yeah Pokémon is just different. It’s technically speaking not a first party game. It’s kind of a weird hybrid between first party and a third party exclusive. Also, the specifics of what they said specified that ‘Nintendo-developed’, which in this case wouldn’t be true even if they owned Pokémon outright.
I’m kind of surprised this is a surprise to people, to me because it never really seemed possible this would be the case. I don’t think it’s even a money thing, just that if you put the DLC in the upgrade pack the problem is: what does the pack do when it encounters a game which already has the DLC?
What is a money thing is not making the DLC available on NSO expansion pack as well and/or knocking down the price. It’s been 8 years now.
