For a family friendly company(?) this is long overdue and a personal gripe of mine. I now suffer from chronic tendinitis in my thumbs... which means no control sticks. Some games I can get around, but my favourite, Splatoon 2.... is now unplayable and I'm not blowing my trumpet but I got quite good and loved that game. With Splatoon 3 nearly out I am having to avoid any media about it as I just cannot play it! I have looked in to different ways, using an xbox adaptive controller with a USB converter etc but it just doesn't work. I can play PC games with a joystick, using joy2key and a gaming mouse with loads of buttons on. Can't use joystick or mouse with the Switch. That excludes people like myself and I've been a massive Nintendo fan for years.
An online market, like Pocketcamp where we can sell to other players. That way it would be so much easier to complete a themed area with furniture, or get all fruits, share recipes, etc... All without having someone come to your island and trash your stuff or charge a crazy amount of bells!
More personality types like Pocketcamp would lead to less repetition in conversations.
I mean all the good stuff from Pocketcamp should already be in this game right?
COOKING and FARMING - both I think have been found when datamined and both would open up so much more to do. Work to get the bells to buy seeds, grow or catch the ingredients, cook said ingredients to make the achievement. It would open up so much!
MORE VILLAGER INTERACTION AND LESS REPETITION - For a Nintendo AAA game the repetition of the villagers gets really disappointing, there should be more factors to what they say, not just the type of personality. It gets tedious and a waste of time interacting with them after a while. Also the villagers interact more with the items you place down in Pocketcamp than they do in ACNH! Again this is a higher priced AAA Nintendo game, they may sit on the bench you put down, or if your lucky a chair... but what about the instruments, the gym, the countless other things we work so hard for to decorate our islands... to what end... Pocketcamp is a mobile game and I never got bored of seeing Filbert bounce up and down on the trampoline!
These things alone would add another 100+ hours for me.
I've read that you can't actually trade cards any more?! Is that true? It's called a trading card game for goodness sake. I can understand why some are calling it a down grade. I'm still looking forward to trying it out as I've been enjoying the current version on PC, but seriously, let's not lose the roots of the game that we all love.
The only advantage of paying anything in this game is if you upgrade your items sooner. The Pokemon themselves have to be balanced in their skill sets or the game would be flawed, which it isn't. The only advantage of having a more 'expensive pokemon' is if you want that particular one for some reason or prefer their style of play.... or because less people have it so you ate more likely to be able to use that particular one more often. You cannot design a moba game where there are stats that don't balance out. They have already nerfed the Chairizard and will continue to balance out things as needed. If the game was that flawed it would fail and make them no money at all. Watch some videos on YouTube on Stats etc and you will see that some of the best stats are with the free pokemon at the start of the game. So other than cosmetic, the only advantage of paying is in item upgrades and I haven't paid anything and have 1 on 20, 1 on 18, 1 on 11, one on 12. Just spend your vouchers on upgrade items and not cosmetics.
Played this game alot, haven't spent a penny. Got a Cinderace, the same Cinderace was a reward for logging in a few days later so instead of giving me a the same pokemon again the game gave me the 8000 coins that Cinderace cost me instead. Now have nearly 18000 coins and winning over 55% of my games.... All without spending a penny 🤷♂️

Re: Pokémon Trading Card Game Online "Sunset FAQ" Explains Shut Down Process
It does have a 'Game Pass' option. So yes, not sure if that's good or bad tbh.

Re: SnowRunner Will Make An Out Of Season Appearance On Switch In May
This game is Amazing. The level of detail put in to it is incredible. Let's just hope that transfers over to the Switch.
Re: You Can Now Play Animal Crossing With A Pad That Looks Like Tom Nook's Face
I know he charges a lot of bells for that basement but I still don't want to be sticking my finger in his eye!!!
Re: Ninjala's Getting A Special Gameplay Livestream Featuring J-Pop Star Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
Looking forward to it but Splatoon still needs more skill than luck (scissor, stone, paper parry clash) and therefore seems the better game.
