I think a way to keep out unwanted people, is to have them register with their Club Nintendo account, or with a Nintendo console

Who cares if it flopped at E3?!
Everyone who bought this game, who had a lot of friends over, said this game was pretty awesome
So I think Nintendo got it right with the local multiplayer
