Nintendo make great hardware, and they still seem to be dominating the handheld market (as in, actual dedicated handheld gaming devices), but it's their IPs that draw people in. If you can get Pokémon on your iPad or the new Zelda for your Xbox, how many people are going to buy a 3DS or a Wii U?
I'm really tempted, but I'm facing the same dilemma I face every time there's something cool on Club Nintendo: what if there's something even cooler next month?
@JaxonH Minish Cap is my least favourite handheld Zelda. Some of the puzzles were badly designed, and there were some really frustrating bosses. It's a good game, but not as good as Link's Awakening and the Oracle games.
@TwoTheNines I really liked Spirit Tracks. It's definitely one of my favourite games in the series. And I loved the relationship between Link and Zelda.
Although I did really enjoy Link Between Worlds, it wasn't because of how it built on Link to the Past. I actually thought it was relying too much on nostalgia for the earlier game when it didn't need to.
Hmm. I might get Mutand Mudds Deluxe. I already have the 3DS version, so I didn't want to pay full price just for the ghost levels, but at half-price it's pretty tempting.
It looks pretty difficult. Traversing a plethora of traps is bad enough, but those big floaty letters popping up all the time must make it a nightmare!
The scorpion/tarantula fight has been in there since at least Wild World. A new cool thing is in the next room over, where you find the golden stag facing off against the horned Hercules on a tree stump.
Two bugs enter, one bug... gets flipped onto its back...
I want the Ghost levels, but I don't want to have to buy this to get them. If they were released on the 3DS as DLC I'd totally pay two or three dollars for them.

Yeah, I'm of that opinion too.

And $3 Ikachan sounds good too.

Ooh, this could be promising.
And we only have to wait till December? Brilliant.

That's really not a bad thing.

I had a sinking feeling it still did.
Re: Video: This Super Metroid Animation is Rather Impressive
This is really cool.
Re: Metroid Fan Film Seeks Crowdfunding For Completion
I'm getting serious Tron vibes from the title.

...I think I'm going to try right now.

Ooh! The hologlobe!
Re: Review: The Smurfs 2 (Wii U)
Smurfette looks really, really creepy in the title picture.
Re: Video: Animal Crossing Fails To Provide A Decisive Verdict On Which Is Best: Scorpion Or Tarantula
@SuperCharlie78
I know, right? I've only had the game for a fortnight and I've already clocked 120 hours!
For reference, there are only 336 hours in a fortnight. That means I've spent over a third of the past two weeks playing Animal Crossing.
For further reference, that's only seven hours less than Aron Ralston spent between a rock and a hard place.
And I didn't even have to cut my arm off!
