The cons list only the disappointing performance, but yet it gets a 7/10? Personally I'd give it an 8 out of 10. I've been playing this for a couple weeks, and it's perfectly playable. Of course it's not going to be 30-60 fps, but that hasn't stopped me from reaching level 45 and getting to 100% of the pioneering effort in the first area. It's a great game regardless. Not having a PS5 or Xbox, having a portable physical copy on the Switch is preferable to yet another cloud game on Steam.
The boxer you play as isn't actually Little Mac, and I'd like to see a source on that if you claim it is.
Also, Vodka Drunkenski's name wasn't changed because of some "on the nose" stereotype about Russians, it was changed because of the alcohol reference. Nintendo's values were very anti-tobacco, anti-alcohol back in the 80s and 90s. Wow, who wrote this article and did they even do any research?
Since I don't have anyone locally to play games with, I find the lack of local co op a complete non-issue. I don't like reviewers who assume that's a dealbreaker for everyone and lower the score accordingly. It should be mentioned, of course, but that's not going to impact anyone who prefers to play online. Also, I much prefer reviewers who write in plain english, rather than trying to sound fancy and impressive with purple prose. We're not impressed, just confused as to how you even landed this gig.

This guy loves to use the word "rather", especially in incorrect ways.
