@Wheatly If it's any consolation, TMNT 3 Radical Rescue for the gb is a metroidvania and still beats my confidence down 30 years later.

Having played the rest back in their day and trying to play them now, I agree with you on the nostalgia being a huge factor. As with most things, the brawlers are better enjoyed with pals.

Odin Sphere feels like more of a fit for this crowd.

There had to be a reason I was thinking of this game the past few weeks. Imagine Harry pooter crossed with Goundhog day. The gameplay is RTS more than tower defense and is a vertical field instead of a top down.

I will say, that at my age, time is way more limited for games. There's so many new experiences or new takes on familiar tropes and I want to taste them all. However, if I find one that resonates with me, like children of morta, I'm on that like I was 12 again. I was never good at games but the ones I did beat like a milk fed veal were ones people thought were impossible for us normies. Good on ya, mate!

We loved it then cause it was one of the few options around at the time. You want brutal, try that Brotherhood of Steel skinned version. Def agree that both should have been included since da2 felt like more of a real game than a tech demo

That gamecube keyboard was so comfortable for playing any gamecube game that it was my preferred controller of choice when playing on the cube.

My one true accessory love goes to the original magnifier for the game boy. My brain is forever tricked into thinking the GB had great resolution.

I'm not complaining about having to log in but not being able to play without a connection is a real boner killer. Ah well, cest la vie.
