@Mirage-5x5 I recommend that you check it out. I think this reviewing gave up too early, and was approaching the game with a very closed mind on what a Missile Command game can be. It's a 9/10, classic for sure!
I just won the game for the SECOND time last night, and oh man... the endings are WORTH IT! Definitely a 9/10 (even though I gave it a 6.5/10 when I first started the game - that shows that the reviewer may not have spent enough time with the game to appreciate it's mechanics), and a classic! One of the greatest games released in 2025!
I love the art-style, sound design, and general gameplay, but man... I can't even eliminate half of the first boss's hitpoints! I've not given up, but wow - this one is as tough as nails!
Hahaha. Thank you for this review. It was a breath of fresh air. I wonder if they made this compilation simply to remind everyone of how bad Bubsy WAS before releasing - what appears to be - the absolute BANGER of Bubsy 4D afterward? Because that game looks fantastic!
I am back. I have solved every puzzle and I am fighting through what I imagine is one of the closing battle scenes – apparently there are six possible endings to the game, but I am at one of those six. The longer I have played it the more I have grown to love it and I now rank it as an absolute Atari classic. In hindsight of having played through the whole game, I rank it a 9 out of 10. I feel pity for people who don’t give it a good chance and get to experience the twists and turns and challenges that it offers. I’ll be talking about this game still 20 years from now.
Please find me ANY confirmation that this is coming to the Switch? There's no mention of the Switch for this game on Atari's site whatsoever. I'd love to play it, but I don't think they're porting it for us!

Jokingly referred to as "Mr. Die & Die", this game is unrelentingly tough, but also laugh-out-loud fun! One of the hardest games I've ever played, but also some of the most fun I've ever had. My favorite game released in 2023!
It took a little bit to wrap my head around, but if you enjoy games like Myst (particularly, RealMyst), and turn-based strategy, this is absolutely the game for you. It manages to convey the absolutely riveting anxiety of the original Missile Command, in an entirely different skin. Honestly, my favorite game of 2025. I plan to replay it again to discover all 6 possible endings!
This is THE best version of Yar's Revenge, hands down. I've played every variation since the original, and this is the one I return to the most. That said, you miss out on the very best aspects of the gameplay if you aren't playing it with a 2nd player - that's where it truly shines. The multiplayer experience here is simply perfect! One of my all-time favorite games.
Not my all-time favorite, but still a rewarding play. I get a little tired of the Gen Z dialogue, but the gameplay has some fun surprises, and I genuinely like the game.
Confounding a first, but well worth sludging through for the first few days until you "get it" - afterward, 100% rewarding. One of the most unique games I've ever played.
I couldn't disagree with you more. I have already grinded this game for 4.5 hours since it dropped the day before yesterday. At first I was concerned with the totally different approach (the original arcade release, the 7800 port, and the recharged version on the Switch are some of my all-time favorites), but the more I played, the more the story sucked me in. The unique layered game play - part puzzle adventure, part relationship management, and part turn-based strategy - left me unable to walk away from the game... I think about it constantly. I feel the tension of awaiting the red lights flashing again! After giving it a solid run, I'm giving this an 8.5/10... an absolute triumph for Atari!

Re: Atari's Badass 'Fatal Run' Revival Nails A Fall 2025 Release Window
Atari's website makes no mention of the Switch or Switch 2 for this game, sadly.
Re: Review: Adventure Of Samsara (Switch) - Atari's Throwback Metroidvania Embraces Cycles Of Life, Death, And More Death
The game is BEAUTIFUL, but HAAAAARD. Geez, it's hard. I will keep trying, though.

This is right down my alley! It looks soooo good! I've already pre-ordered it, so we'll see!

Is this releasing for the Switch or not?

@Chocobo_Shepherd I think this is a brilliant idea.

I was honestly shocked at how well this game worked! Bravo, Atari! I love it!

It doesn't break a ton of new ground, but it is laugh-out-loud fun, especially with two players!
