Look forward to worse gameplay, being locked out of games you bought (happened to TW Warhammer 3 players just last week), and eventually losing access to DLC and games because the DRM getting turned off (like what's going on with Ubisoft and what happened with Microsoft store years ago).
Just because people are forced to subscribe doesn't mean they are happy, as the writer implied. Nintendo does nothing to earn the subscription fee while holding parts of our games for ransom unless we pay up. Why would anyone be happy with paying a ransom?
These are legitimate reviews. They had a negative experience and reviewed the game negatively. Bloggers don't have a say in other peoples reviews of a game, nor should they be trying to suppress reviews by creating internet mobs from their ignorant and stupid readers to harass and put pressure on reviewers to review a game how a blog wants a game reviewed. Also, you are nothing but bloggers, so acting like "critics" reviews of a game are somehow worth more than any other moron is nonsense.
If you think this "review bombing" is bad then stop and attempt to think at what these blogs are doing. They are trying to influence the reviews of a game to be what they want them to be.
@Folkloner No, you're wrong, it's not about the journey, it's about the intent to provide players with a sense of pride and accomplishment for unlocking different Pokemon and items.
It's a scam, don't act like these hackers aren't in the right for navigating the traps designed to prey on children and weak minded adults.
Wow, Nintendo is having a bad week. First they fail E3 and piss off gamers by announcing some crappy games that are insults to fans of the series, then Regie ironically bashes VR while trying to push Wii U which is a failed tablet controller console, and now they've completely screwed up the Splatoon event. Glad I only rented that overpriced ripoff game.
Amiibo are ripoffs meant to take advantage of people with low intillect that don't understand the worth of money. These people believe they will be worth something in the future, but in reality they are only worth anything right now and they will have the same fate as Beanie Babies. They are also taking content out of games that already lack content, like Splatoon, and are charging outrageous prices for it. It's $30 to get a few pieces of the best looking armor and the other 4 or 5 arcade minigames to play while waiting for matches. That's disrespectful to the people that payed $60 for an online only multiplayer game with very little content that in a few years will be dead and worth nothing and eventually will have its servers shut down. Sure Splatoon is a very fun game, but $60 is a ripoff, and charging $30 more for some of the good content they took out of the game to sell extra is just disgusting and greedy. When you buy this crap it effects everyone else and screws gaming up for us all. Just like supporting DLC and casual games did.

Try thinking for yourself, kids.

@MrAmanojaku Don't be childish and double down on your ignorance.
