Nintendo shouldn't worry to much about stock issues, amiibo in card format are going to be waaaaay easier to counterfeit than their plastic cousins.

Not exactly creative. I personally would have traded the whole collection to EB Games for instant cash (not store credit) for their usual wonderful trade in prices. Then I would have posted the husband the receipt. THAT would have made him cry.

@Sir_Deadly don't get me wrong, I can understand your point of view especially when there is very little in the way of "original" software being produced. But let me ask you just one simple question. Would you prefer to play a HD rehash of say a Zelda title, or an original new Zelda adventure?

Yeah, HD remakes of everything complete with microtransactions and DLC. Really screw the consumer for something they have probably bought already and will buy again because of the "nostalgia syndrome".

I got it... It's going to be a NES controller amiibo. So when you NFC it on either the WiiU or 3DS, it brings up a blue screen which makes you have to reset your machine.

If it was a WiiU would it have made headlines???
