Bought for iPad a couple months ago. If only they refined gameplay like they did with DD, would be day one for me.. But they probably won't and I'm getting when it goes on sales or not getting at all.
@SKTTR No. The remake wasn't localized and was 3DS only.
This one plays the same way, but with a new story and changes in character design/moveset (as they are 2 years older now). Oh and there's 4 players local co-op.
@WiiULoveGBA They should do it on next handheld. Its probably better for them too. Few will buy a new handheld and not sell the old and others will wait until till they favorite game being released to buy.
OTOH, every big game could have an limited edition with the cover, stimulating paying full price and buying the handheld at the game launch. And lets not forget the games will be advertised for free at the same time..
But rather than graphics, I would rather have Xenoblade's complex menu on the gamepad. It would speed up so much gameplay. Also, $70 for a used game is terrible, eShop would solved the problem, even with the scammers as they would have to drop the price.
@sinalefa Either are good, but I highly recommend EOIV for newcomers, because the skill system is much more friendly, as:
1 - There's much less skills at the beginning, and the proficiency makes clear what are their speciality.
2 - At level 20 you unlock more skills, and so you are actually stimulated to reset your skill points at level 22 (you lose 2 levels by doing so) to put them at new skills, thus you are stimulated to test the different skills and understand the class/game better and do a better distribution by lv20. (In EOU, you just feel punished for doing the wrong choice at the beginning by losing 2 levels)
@Quirky Besides the 2nd stratum, there's only one other stratum floor (5th's first) with the edge-teleport. So you are almost done with it.
As for the map, I solved the problem using numbers to pair the map-teleports.

@Peach64 I only played IV and U, but I searched it before and all the stories are not connected. you can play them in any order like FF.

But I recommend you try the demo, you get in a dungeon really quick. (you can also transfer the demo save to the real game once you buy it, so play to your heart content).
