I read the comments first just to see the reactions. After watching the video, it is definitely ugly as hell.

@Masurao maybe just go with some other sites and not score games anymore. Just a detailed review and people can decide whether it suits them or not.

Wow. Dodgy review. This is getting much deserved praise everywhere else. I am on my 3rd playthrough on Vita. Definitely in my top 10 games of the last 30yrs, taking the spot previously held by The Dishwasher (although this has no guitar). Great art, no map needed (if you want your mind blown try googling a map), infinitely customisable. Brilliant.

P.S. Charlie Murder sucked. Don't port that....but bring me Dishwasher plz.

@GKO900 That is fine and I completely understand, but I don't have a PS4, nor do I intend on ever getting one, therefore the Vita is perfect for me. The Switch has dropped the ball this year for my tastes. Next year looks like it will be ok, but people will be looking towards next gen in 2019. Who knows what will happen.

It is a perfect retro portable for your PSP and PS1 games. Just going by what is one my Vita right now: Danganronpa series, Freedom Wars, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth, Attack on Titan:WoF, Darkest Dungeon, Salt and Sanctuary, Dragon's Crown, Rogue Legacy.
Also in my library:
Street Fighter X Tekken, Sonic All Stars Racing, Actual Sunlight, Zero Escape, Blazblue, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrifice Delta, Sly Cooper, Skullgirls, P4G, P4 Dancing, Helldivers, Toukiden Kiwami, Senran Kagura, Akiba's Trip, Muramasa Rebirth, Odin Sphere, God Eater, SteinsGate, Oddworld New n Tasty, Child of Light, Hotline Miami, Killzone Mercenary, Lone Survivor, Sine Mora, MGS3 HD, UMVC3, Guacamelee, Wipeout 2048 plus about another 30 misc titles.

I know a couple of these are on or coming to Switch, but the portability of this list is great imo. Obviously your tastes will be different to mine, but I have found great value and enjoyment from my Vita, aside from the backlog anxiety (and still have many more titles to purchase).

@ReaderRagfish I feel that the systems best games aren't available elsewhere, certainly not portable.

@bolt05 Try Gumtree. There tends to be better deals on there than eBay and it is far easier to negotiate price with the seller.

@bolt05 PSP is brilliant, Vita is highly underrated, so many great games (especially is you like niche Japanese stuff). I have a New 2DS for my DS/3DS itch but is has barely been used, mostly because 3DS games hold their used value too well.

It is a tame second year. I know there are good/great releases this year, but just not for me. I have broken out my Vita again and my backlog of brilliant games on that is nearly impossible to tackle. Even my PSP provides more enjoyment right now.

In saying that, my kids are loving the Switch still, I suppose I am just getting picky in my old age.

@Agramonte 100% this. I just started Cyber Sleuth again and replacing a Personal style Digimon game with visual novel stuff is a joke.

@dok5555555 it does. It is missing those internal buttons found along the slide rail when using it as a single independant controller.

As a side note, I would love to see the Dishwasher games makes their way here. I know it is more likely we will see Cyberpunk on Switch or a monkey fly out of my butt.

@subpopz All deaths are your own fault, typically due to impatience. I have played through a few times on Vita, currently on a beserker build and it is so rewarding when you break through that difficulty and start to really understand it.

@JaxonH I suppose you are unlocking new powers to access shortcuts to other areas really.

@20wonders Salt IMHO is endlessly more enjoyable. Infinitely more difficult, far more rewarding, better replayability.

No doubt the new modes replace 3v3 because the Switch is so underpowered. Just ask everybody.... /s

@Octane oh ok. Everywhere online I read about RE7 on Switch talks about the game being scaled back to run for PSVR, since it is seperate hardware to PS4.

Sorry if I am mistaken, I do not own said hardware, so only go by what I read.

@Octane what is the file size on PSVR? I think that version is a better comparison.

Sorry, but I live in a part of Australia where internet is very dodgy. Cloud streaming a game is not an option and if that is the only way Capcom will bring RE7 to Switch I will be very disappointed. Especially given the fact they have my money from Revelations purchases. Will just buy the GameCube games on the secondary market if Capcom intend on treating gamers like this.

Yes I am hoping for ports, I am allowed to want other systems' games on my handheld since I am unable to play on a conventional home console.

@Alikan All GameCube games in HD. 0,1,2,3,4, CVX. Also RE7......they can do 5 and 6 for completionists as a free download.

@PALversusNTSC I think most people expected to have some kind GameCube availability due to the built in emulation (iirc). Definitely a disappointment and missed opportunity, however they will just push you to buy NES Mini, SNES Mini, N64 Mini, GCN Mini etc. Who wants all their games on a single console anyways ...

I have pumped 80hours into Skyrim, but probably only enjoyed the first 30 or so. Fallout however would be much appreciated.

Too bad about the price.

The price of the AOT games is obscene. I had to pay almost $80 digital on Vita for the first game and this new title is over $100 Australian dollars on Switch. Disappointed, but suckers like me will buy it at some point, considering this franchise doesn't seem to receive discounts ever.

LA Noire = $89.95 AUD on eshop. I would like to buy it, but not at that horrific price.

Honestly, boo hoo. If they knew they were putting out a sub-par product, just cancel it. The financial loss is better than the loss in reputation.

What annoys me is that I can stream films and tv series no probs but cannot watch a trailer on the eshop due to it being so choppy.

I do not have the ability to play this on any other system, so as far as I am concerned, it is a great game on a great system, and I am enjoying the hell out of it. Couldn't care less about tech specs.

@Mando44646 i am again thinking about grabbing the Vita version. The massive price point on the PS store always put me off before though.
