I really do hope it comes out during the Hanabi Festival. Then people will shut the hell up about "I WANT EARTHBOUND BAAAAAW"
Besides, Mother's Day, ie perfect time to release it, but this year, Nintendo isn't smart with VC release dates like they were last year. ie no Smash Brothers with Brawl, no SMK with Kart Wii, so I don't expect to see it.
...why do I even bother checking every week to see what releases come out? It's always a single game I'm not interested in. Only exception was last week, with two games I used to own on SMS
Damo, have you ever tried using a third party PS controller? The one I have doesn't have that nasty D-pad and is quite comfortable. Infact, its the exact same kind of D-pad the Megadrive used (Not that many games even use a D-pad these days)
I remember the MD's six button pad, it was brilliant. I've only ever liked the Dual Shock and the 360's controller more
Star Ocean (SNES): Never released outside of Japan, however with the PSP remake confirmed for localisation, I think it should be localised and released. I played a fan-translated version, and it was brilliant. Sonic CD (Mega CD): Hailed by many as the best 2D Sonic, if Sega decides to follow Hudson's example and add Mega CD support to the Mega Drive area, I'm sure this would be a best seller. They could also add 32x support at the same time, for my following request Knuckles Chaotix (Sega 32X): The only classic Sonic game I have never played, I would love to see this on the VC. Doom 64 (N64): I hear much talk of Doom 64 and how great an experience it was for many Doom fans, with its atmosphere and overall feel being so different to any other version of the classic Doom games. Ultima IV (Sega Master System): My very first RPG, I spent hours and hours on this as a kid, even though I never really knew what I was doing. To be able to play it again after all these years would be great, and the NES version, from what I've seen, is so different
What great news to start my day. Ive been wanting Master System support for ages!
I wonder whether we'll get Game Gear versions of say, Sonic the Hedgehog, rather than the actual SMS version. In rhe Game Gear version, the screen is reduced, example being you can kill the first boss without him even attacking once, while in SMS, he was too high up. I can see Sega/Nintendo being lazy..

Re: EU VC Release - 23rd May - Paradroid
...so Australia and NZ get nothing. Thank you Nintendo. Thank you.
Re: Forgotten Worlds
I spent many many hours playing 2 player coop on the Megadrive as a kid.
One player mode was impossible ;[
I also remember that someone I knew kept talking about how hot the shop girl was.
Re: Cho Aniki
haha, the beggining looks like Forgotten Worlds, with the evil dude looming over the city

Re: The Last Ninja
Wow, that soundtrack is epic indeed.
It's rare hearing something like that on things like an old console
Re: EU VC Releases - 25th April - The Last Ninja
psht they only gave out Double Dragon so we would get SOMETHING.
Re: Sega Fans Rejoice: Alex Kidd In Miracle World Is Coming

People leave the remote hanging off the classic controller? I put the remote in my pocket while using it
Re: Nintendo Power Poll - What Games Do You Want To See?
I would like to see:
Star Ocean (SNES): Never released outside of Japan, however with the PSP remake confirmed for localisation, I think it should be localised and released. I played a fan-translated version, and it was brilliant.
Sonic CD (Mega CD): Hailed by many as the best 2D Sonic, if Sega decides to follow Hudson's example and add Mega CD support to the Mega Drive area, I'm sure this would be a best seller. They could also add 32x support at the same time, for my following request

Ultima IV: The best game I played on the MS
Re: Hardware Focus - Sega Master System
I had a Master system 2 as a kid, and it was my first ever console. Too bad it seemed to just vanish. I wonder what happened to it?
