Two quick things: Dodging a rush can prevent you taking the 5 chip damage per hit, which may be important in close matches. Also, if the game is close to timing out, you're ahead, and you have your rush, you can use that to spend the last few seconds of the match while forcing your opponent to be defensive.
Things that haven't stopped me from spending 400 hours with the switch:
~ backwards compatibility (That's impossible, and you need to accept that. A switch is not a Wii U.) ~ Wii U ports being budget priced (Why should they be?) ~ free online gaming from next year (It's so freaking cheap. It's either this or complain about servers again.) ~ real AAA 3rd party support (Why are you on a nintendo forum?) ~ cutting edge technology (Why are you on a nintendo forum?) ~ a microphone (niche use, especially with their app they've told us about)
Things you're wrong about: ~ decent memory storage - Just buy an SD Card like everyone else. Not like it's the Vita. ~ normal voice chat - You're judging their implementation before seeing it ~ decent battery life - It's totally fine. ~ a D pad on the standard controller - There are third party options
Things that will likely be on Switch given time: ~ Youtube ~ Virtual Console ~ Netflix ~ a browser ~ apps ~ ability to transfer saves or cloud storage
Things that no one cares about: ~ a second screen ~ a camera ~ analogue triggers ~ Miiverse ~ Street Pass

Re: AtGames Confirms Its SEGA Genesis Clone Systems to Roll Out Ahead of SNES Mini
That handheld looks fun. I'm not really interested in any of these mini-consoles though
Re: Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star to Hit Europe and Australia on 21st July
This is one I'll buy if I'm bored one day.

Who said you couldn't enjoy BOTW on Wii U?
Also, Pony? What?

Re: Review: Darksiders: Warmastered Edition (Wii U)
@SLIGEACH_EIRE If this was a Switch game you'd be complaining about it being a glitchy port
