mimikyu hype! i love pokémon with gimmicky abilities and it sure looks like one

I really don't get the hype. The entirety of gameplay consists of swiping a pokéball at a 3D model and tapping furiously during a gym battle. No strategy, all pokemon are the exact same besides the model, all of their moves only do damage. I have no idea what's fun in that. And if you want to play this because you have to go outside, you might as well play Ingress, better game anyways.

Everyone in the comments: "Wow, a pre-release game that's currently in the early stages of its closed beta doesn't look polished. How surprising!" Seriously, wait until it comes out, then you can bash it all you want.

I sure as hell hope the battles are actual pokémon battles (with attacks, abilities, items, EV-s and IV-s), and not some dumbed-down version.

@Krisi Wow, I'm Hungarian and changed it to Ireland too. The chances of that are pretty low.

@inverse He said not MUCH more powerful, which I agree is still BS, just made a little correction.

@CrazedCavalier Good thing I play and like both FFXIV and MH, so this game will be perfect for me. Probably going to be a white mage, as I love healing classes and I'm mainly a WHM in FFXIV too.

@LUIGITORNADO I do. I don't know which videos you've watched to come to that conclusion, but he's not that cocky IMO.

@Genesaur Yes, used it in monster hunter too. It helps to judge the distance between you and the monster, and i think it looks cool. BTW, how did you know that i played MH?

I think they should focus on the Wii U, but i'd love to see a 3DS TV. Especially if it could record gameplay as videos, and it would be able to display 3D with glasses. Though i don't think it will happen.

@AlexSora89 And in the japanese X&Y overview trailer, there is a cave with sapphires and emeralds. Gen 3 remakes!

@Lionhart Yeah, Mutant Mudds was another example of a 2.5D game, and it was really cool, and the 3D effect looked great!

I'm living in hungary, no hotspots here. Also, people rarely buy a nintendo console here. Everyone plays cod. Never had a streetpass hit, even though i always bring my 3ds in sleep mode everywhere i go.

I hope there will be a 3D trailer released in the eshop.

Monster hunter 3 ultimate, kid icarus uprising

I have the DS version, it's a lot of fun (the music editor is awesome), i hope the sequel will be just as good.

Seems like a good game, but i don't have a wii U, and the 3ds version sounds kinda lame...

I'll keep the outlines so i can see the characters better, but i'll try it without them to see if its better.

I'll buy it as soon as its discounted, but i don't want to spend my money to ensure i can buy pokemon y on release.

I REALLY hope it comes to Europe. zinogre=awesome
