PS4 and XBOX ONE both had a great exclusive on march, with 2 or 3 strong titles following them, Wii U hasn't had a decent retail title since Donkey Kong and yet still sold 70000, I think overall this isn't bad at all.
Wii is bought by parents who don't want to spend 300$ on a console, not because of it's backward compatibility with Game Cube, Wii U is not bought because of lack of third party support and a simple fact that only 1/10th of the games coming to XBOX and PS4 will be coming to Wii U.
I hope if the Wii U version is done well and that the game gets tremendous support from the Nintendo community, because if not we have to say good bye to third parties.

I don't think they actually restrict you from all online interactions, but there is a lot of censorship going on.
Anyways even if they manage to make hardwares that are as good looking as Nintendo they will never be able to make the Games, and that's where all rip off companies show their weakness, Quality Games.
I'm tempted to maybe go ahead and buy a second hand Wii U, any thoughts on that? I thought I would get one with a pro controller and some decent games, I'm not sure how much it's worth tho.
Hi guys, I'm new here, I don't have an Nintendo right now, seeing the Mario kart videos I got all excited and decided to buy a Wii U after its release, just to Reminisce in the glory days of my youth, anyways not that I will be buying a 3ds but I've been reading some of the comments made and just wanted to ask why isn't there more 3ds games being developed by 3rd parties? hasn't it been successful in sales? its just you've all been mentioning different reasons why there aren't a lot of 3rd party Wii U titles in the other posts, but while PS vita has a game released every week with its much smaller user base, I don't see that many 3ds games in the making.
