I’m quite fine with my Wii versions. The improvements are not that revolutionary and the price is way too high. Plus, I really couldn’t do without a Wiimote for these particular games.

If Nintendo ever came out with a proper remake, I’d be down on day one. But I’m not holding my breath…

Well, my Switch 2 is strictly for exclusives. Even if this was a real cart I would’ve bought the PS5 version.

If this game had been an exclusive I would’ve bought the Switch 1 version, even with no possibility to upgrade. That’s how much I hate game key carts and everything they stand for.

It almost seems like killing off physical was Nintendo’s plan all along. Forcing publishers to pay a fortune for real carts while at the same time offering them a super cheap alternative for taking up shelf space.

For every enlightened buyer there’s probably ten soccer moms and casuals scooping this crap up

The Switch 2 (just like Switch 1) is only a secondary console for me. I primarily use my PS5 Pro for gaming and Switch only for Nintendo games plus a small number of third party exclusives.
I only buy physical, that goes for both PS5 and Switch. I expect Nintendo exclusives to ship on regular cartridges, therefore I won’t have to sully my hands with these horrible excuses for physical releases.

Already spent 200+ hours on the Wii U version. There’s not enough improvements in the world that’ll make me invest that much time again, even if it is a very good game.
Also, the amount of time and resources Nintendo & Co have spent on Wii U to Switch conversions probably could have paid for lots of Switch exclusives. So tired of these “definitive editions”, hopefully they’ll change strategy with Switch 2
