Possibly my favorite Zelda as well, though it's hard to choose, but I wouldn't mind if someone else made my top 10 and placed it at number 1.

I don't necessarily look at it as another Mario game, but as another good game from Nintendo, I don't really care if it's the Mario character or another one. I mean, when they made Galaxy they could have thrown a new main character into that game since it is so different from other Mario games. I don't think Nintendo is wrong when they say that different gameplay experiences doesn't mean new IP's or characters but I also support the idea of a new character from this company, something to try to achieve the iconics (Mario, Link, Samus) heights.

I'm of the opinion that Nintendo should just throw a bunch of freaking cash and buy these guys. They haven't made a bad game yet and Nintendo needs more developers. Buy them already. Thanks.

Fully disappointed. Retro, the western company that could pull great stuff for us is working again on a DK? Nothing against DK, but couldn't it be done by another studio? This killed the direct for me. Thanks Nintendo.

Completely normal in the industry, don't worry people. Retro even hired people from Naughty Dog (and some staff from Vigil) and you don't see their games going down in quality. Happens all the time, just another day in the industry.

I love how people are preordering Earthbound Wii U without knowing what it really is. 3rd highest "Movers and Shakers" on Amazon.

That's not the point, the point is the interest is there. The price has been practiced before, and even lower prices have been seen around the internet. The interest grew quite a lot and that's the news, more than anything.

Yesterday it went up 875%. When I took the screenshot it had fallen to 700% but still. It eventually reached the 386% that this news says, but the sales peak was much higher.

@ferthepoet Maybe a separate one, but I guess this will be focused on the Wii U. 3DS has a bunch of games coming this year, can't really ask for more, so no reason to put too much focus on that. This is it for the Wii U, they have to save the console at this E3.

If it was the same Rare from old times, yea. Rare still has a bit of potential but the people that made the games we loved aren't there. Rare is just a name now.

15 exclusives, how many Kinect bullcr*p there? Wii U and PC for me, maybe PS4 depending on games, but certainly not on launch.

@Peach64 Xenoblade, The Last Story, Disaster, Sin & Punishment are Nintendo IP's, I'd say that's not bad seeing how many IP's Nintendo already have (they can't handle them all tbh).

Hopefully it sells well all across Europe, the game is fantastic, I'm loving every bit of it (and of my FE 3DS XL). They definitely did well in bringing a limited edition 3DS XL along with the game.

I cannot wait and yes, I'll buy the digital version. Having this one and Fire Emblem both on the console ready to be played will be a blessing.

Dude, I'm pretty sure you don't remember PS2 graphics or you wouldn't be saying that. Same goes for Half-Life.

So, what is it? They aren't supporting the engine for the Wii U but developers can still port it if they want? Since this engine is said it can run even on mobile phones, I see no reason not to run on the Wii U.

Everyone has the right to say what they want but he could make sure he doesn't say something absurd or at least choose his words a bit more carefully when it came out to that 3DS tweet. Obviously the guy has his opinion and I couldn't care less (though some people here seem to care), but he isn't just a guy like me or you, he has fans, potential buyers, etc, so yea, he could think for a second before saying something.

Surely not good news to be throwing around before the game launches? Well, what do I know.

Having a good horror game would only do them good, the original one was amazing and I really think they could win some people over with a good sequel.

Nothing cool happens when I get excited so I'm guessing... Deus Ex (good game, don't get me wrong, but played it a while ago on PC).

I love multiplayer, but the best experiences I have are while I'm playing alone, single player, on the little time I can get for myself only. I fear this day they talk about, because we are indeed going towards it and it sucks.

@Peach64 At least the bits we saw on the E3 last year were running on a high end PC and they stated it wouldn't look this good on the PS3/Xbox 360.

Still, definitely, not getting my hopes high.

What isn't rocket science is seeing why the sales are so bad. Really, I don't get it, we are "all" Nintendo fans here, but can't we see when they mess up? Anyway, I guess I made my point, we all have different opinions. Let's just wait for the games we want to play, those will be happier days.

It's not just about the games that launch with the console, you gotta give it momentum. What games came out since then? In my opinion not one worth mentioning, much less worth buying a console for, and that's the problem, you can't just launch a console and then leave it on a desert for 4 months.

I don't care really, since I'm mainly a Nintendo fan, I enjoy their games and I know they will eventually come, I'm just saying this because Nintendo doesn't want just to appeal to their long time fans, and this is not the way to do it.

As for the 3DS launch, there's a reason I still don't own one... I will buy this year, but it would be better for Nintendo if I had bought before the price drop, right? And like me, many others.

I don't think it's about saying that it is doomed, it's about "it could have been doing much, much better". The opportunity to sell more consoles isn't being taken with the current titles we have. Obviously the console will eventually sell a lot more when other titles come, but it is also true that it will sell less when it has competitors out on the market. Not to forget the amazing titles coming to PC/Xbox/PS3 still this year, all of this makes the Wii U look bad for now.

It will get better... sure, it will, but wouldn't it BE better if this wasn't actually happening?

@Mk_II I'm not saying it doesn't, but launching a console without a big ass title doesn't make sense, and like I said we don't even have Pikmin yet (which doesn't really sell much consoles, let's face it). If they couldn't keep up with a interesting line up of games releasing until the end of the year, maybe they shouldn't have released the console now. From November until now there's nothing coming out, the next game worth mentioning is Lego City in late March and that isn't good. It needed to be a better launch.

But it's because of decisions like Rayman that the console isn't selling better either, it's not that "simple".

Nintendo made a huge mistake with this disappointing line up of launch games and I hope things can get back on track when the games start popping out, but it may be too late for a lot of people. You can't make mistakes like this when launching a new hardware, pretty sure they are all very disappointed and even asking themselves how they thought this would be a good launch. No Pikmin and W101 date is unbelievable as well, they need to sort their heads. The head start for the Wii U is everything but that, if at all it's just making the console look bad and a lot more people won't give a crap about it when the competitors arrive. Put the bad marketing on top of that and yea... Nintendo messed up, let's just hope things get better.

I found my 3DS. Will buy, finally.

Just hope that this doesn't mean that the US will have some Wii U goodies and us europeans will be looking at it from afar...

Well, what is this? A bunch of bullies just trying to bring the poor kid down? Never in my freaking life have I seen so much negativity, what the hell? It's been 3 months, the lack of a system seller has kept the console at bay but that is obviously going to change when those system seller come, so why all the "hate"? It's like they don't want it to succeed so they keep bashing the system.

Bah... I was a big fan of the series. Loved the idea of playing a horseman of the apocalypse as well. Oh well, it was good while it lasted, but it's always sad to see a franchise die like this. Anyway, good job on the games, Vigil.

Just don't forget that Nintendo is paying to have this developed, it's not as simple as just being the publisher. Platinum could make an extended edition and get another publisher for PS360 if they had funded the entire game and only had Nintendo publish it. I doubt it is as easy when Nintendo paid to have it developed... adding a new chapter probably isn't enough for this game to be able to be released under a new name on another console, but it is possible. The thing is, it won't be Bayonetta 2, it would have to be almost a new game and it would take a while + more money from Platinum. Let's see how it goes.

@MrSRArter Mass Effect was bought by EA which then did whatever they wanted with the franchise. So, unless Nintendo sells these IP's... these titles won't be on another console. It's a no brainer for a publisher like EA to publish the games on other consoles, but for Nintendo, they need this type of games to eventually sell more consoles, so I'd say it not probable at all that they would sell it...

Why is this bad news? Most MMO's and games like that have European servers, American servers, and so on. Why do I care if I can't play with my high ping with some people from the States?

Wow, this was supposed to be released last year, on November or something. Are you serious? What a freaking delay... I knew it was going to be ported to other consoles sooner or later and I have no problem with that, but this delay? Douche move Ubisoft, this game won't even feel right on my hands when it comes out, and it was a sure buy for me.

I hope Fire Emblem continuous to grow as it is one of my favorite franchises tbh. I just hope to see it with a big freaking budget someday, and how it would play/look like.

Why is everybody stressing out because of the "We hope this isn't true" quote? I hope this isn't true, and no, it is not because I want the Vita to fail. I hope it isn't true because being delayed just so the Vita port can be ready at the same time is bullsh*t. Being delayed because the 3DS version is still in progress and being improved (as the article says) is totally fine. The Vita can have it, but if the 3DS version is being held by the port and not getting improved... meh. So, yea, I hope it isn't true that the delay is due to this.
