1) Buy a DSi
2) Connect to Wifi with it
3) Run the DSiShop application
4) Buy some games/apps

1-6 are unlocked with myNotebook Blue, 7 is red (I think), 8 is green (or vice versa) and 9 is Pop+ Solo.

You unlock more through writing and the number of times you use the app.

@ror44 We could have done that. However because we are limited with the amount of space we can use we decided to allow people to download more notebooks. The easiest way for people to differentiate which notebook they have versus the one they don't is by colour.

We can also release more colours in the future should people fill up the ones they have and/or there is high demand for different colours

Couple of things worth noting is there are several unlockable paper types for both lined and gridded paper. Most are unlocked through use however 3 lined and 3 gridded are unlocked by owning Pop+ Solo, the myNotebook Red and myNotebook Green (ie one unlockable paper type for each).

Just to address a couple of points for some of you

1) We would love to give you free apps however Nnooo don't have as deep pockets as Nintendo and Nintendo give stuff away for free to bring people to the machine. Maybe once we sell a million units of a game we'll start handing out some freebies In the meantime we think the price of a burger is pretty good for a neat little notebook!

2) Nintendo write and own the Software Development Kit (SDK) we use to make all our apps and games. Currently the SD card is off limits to us. Nintendo, because they write it, are usually on versions way ahead of what we have which means they can put stuff into their games first. So unfortunately the only way we could have saved to SD card at the moment is to make each page a photo and saved to the internal memory. You would then have the option of transferring that to SD. We decided that for our first app that was a lot of work and would have increased the price. We also were not sure how cumbersome it would be and how frequently used it would be.

Rest assured we take all of your comments (positive and negative) seriously and if myNotebook sells well and there is enough demand for one with more features we will definitely pursue it!

Had Donkey Kong, Turtle Bridge, Oil Panic, Snoopy (Solar Colour one), Popeye (Solar Colour one), Mickey and Donald and DK Jr as a family.

Still have most of them and am trying to grow my collection again

@Luigiman2 If you have a Nintendo DSi make sure you have access to wireless internet at home or at one of Nintendo's free wifi hotspots (I think McDonalds amongst others offer it free). Then go into your DSi System Menu and scroll to internet. Then follow the instructions.

It is going to be 200 points so not free (we have to eat I'm afraid). We are constrained by how much we can store on the DSi and so chose to restrict it to 35 pages. You can clear them or buy one of the other notebooks if you run out

Also GBA games are 240 x 160 where as DS games are 256 x 192 so it would not be that bad to have them running at 1:1. The DS does that anyway when you play GBA games via the cart slot. If you upscaled GB games by 1.3 you would scale them from 160x144 to 208 x 187 (personally I think Nintendo would just output them at 1:1 and leave them bordered).

I'd find it strange if they did this without making it the DSi 2. Changing the resolution is a pretty big step particularly 4:3 to 16:9. While GBA games may look fine on it current DS and DSi games would be bordered....

Oh and to the nay-sayers. Just think of a DSi app which used Wifi (available all over the place) and the cameras to allow you to contact other DSi users....

@jockolantern We have added a lot more to the DSiWare version such as boss battles, new bonus rounds and quite a few modes. We think there is more depth and longevity to it

I have all 3 but buying this for the motion controls and 'cos they are awesome!! Cannot wait to play them again.

We hope myNotebook will be this year. Pop+ Solo is already in submission with Nintendo and we hope to have another app from the myLifeCollected range out this year too.

Our new game franchise will be out next year.

@Bahamut ZERO - Adventure mode is a brand new mode in Pop+ Solo with 4 boss battles, gold fish, sea mines and jets.

@Prochnow Left and Right handed people will see the book the right way up at all times Just imagine I'm writing with my left hand in stead of right and you'll get it.

Also to all the guys asking for more features. Please bear in mind that this is going to cost 200 points and as a small developer we have to make sure we spend the right amount of time on this for the price we are selling it at. We are not sure how it will do so we our dipping our toes in the water. If you all love it we'll do a Pro version with heaps more features!

Pop+ Solo is with Nintendo as we speak They have to play it and do all sorts of fun tests to it to make sure we don't knacker your DSi Once they are happy with it we'll get a release date and let the guys and girls at NintendoLife know!

In the mean time we have to start focusing on what we do next which is amongst other things myLifeCollected with the first app being myNotebook...

And to the guys at NintendoLife if you don't ask for an interview I deliberately didn't reveal anything 'cos as you know you get our news first

Personally looking at your photos I think with a bit of practice you'll be fine on both sides of the screen Try holding your hand closer to the hinge and nearer the bottom. I acknowledge it is not perfect however we wanted to have a complete feeling of a proper notebook rather than nothing at all on the opposing screen.

@Chicken Brutus You are correct. You can write on even pages with the touchscreen on the left and odd pages with the touchscreen on the right.

We have tested it extensively with both right and left handed users and no one has any complaints. I am right handed and can write on pages which have the touchscreen on the right and on the left. If I can do that then I do not see why a left hander cannot also manage.

However it is possible that there are other elements effecting Stuffgamer1 that we may not be aware off so I am not trying to be insensitive.
