This is really unfortunate. It's so time consuming to calculate IVs manually - and the worst part is, it's usually not very accurate. Pokeadvisor gave us EXACT IVs and really helped with the decision making process of what pokemon to keep/transfer.
It's a shame that Niantic will probably never give us the ability to read these hidden attributes in-game, and we are all doomed to the extreme time-wasting chore of manually inputting numbers in a spreadsheet just to know which pokemon to throw away.
What is even more frustrating is that pokeadvisor (to my knowledge) used up VERY little server resources. In fact, people calculating IVs will now use up MORE server resources because we're going to have the app open 24/7 while we're calculating our IVs.
Sorry, barely hitting 30fps in 720p is NOT impressive. It doesn't matter how beautiful the visual style is, if it doesn't run properly and we get performance dips every time we get more than two elements on screen, it's going to get annoying.
@rjejr I think you described my feelings very well. I hope that the full game proves us wrong and it will have strong performance even when there are lots of enemies on screen.
@3MonthBeef You may be right about it sometimes being a stylistic choice with some games, but I highly doubt that they PURPOSEFULLY made the framerate drop whenever Link pushes a boulder around, or goes through a forest with more than one tree, etc.
I'm happy and excited for Breath of the Wild's success this year. I personally have some issues with the world design. This could all change in the future, but right now there seems to be a lack of variety in animal species, enemy designs and vegetation. It feels lonely and simply procedurally generated.
However I do appreciate the extra effort they made for the animation. Link's movements and enemy animation are at their very best here, and I'm excited for the appeal of the character designs that I have seen.
Also the explosions and FX work is superb and have a unique visual style that I love.
I also noticed a lot of framerate and performance dips - especially during the portions of the game where more assets were popping into frame. Hopefully it will be optimized in the future.

@Aerona I truly wish I could experience Thousand Year Door anew. That would be incredibly refreshing. You should definitely do it.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations Demo Codes Are On the Way in North America
I usually get codes but it looks like I was out of luck this time. Anyone have one to spare? Thanks guys!
