I hope there is no membership fee for Nintendo Network. That would suck! Online Membership fees are what convinced me to never get an XBox. PSN, however, I can respect. Hopefully Sony and Nintendo can get the videogame back to business as usual offering great games without a catch or hidden fees. If executed correctly, Microsoft will have no choice but to follow suit. Unless they want XBox to go the way of the Dreamcast. But as a gamer, even I don't want to see that. I just want all systems to offer a free online experience. We're already paying a monthly fee for our internet service, so let's not charge for Nintendo Network, please, let's just NOT.
well, wwe games are all the same. i have SvR 2009, 2010, and 2011 and also wwe 12, reason being i am a wrestling fan, but i have not seen a significant change other than svr2011's backstage freeroaming which was removed from wwe 12. i'll probably but wwe 13 for wii, but its no big deal if it is not on wii u. its just a repeated game with what should be DLC added to each "year"
the day Nintendo stops making consoles will be the day I stop buying consoles. Nothing is impossible, but it is highly unlikely. It is very interesting to think about, as is the thought of "what if Sega or Atari made a new console today?" interesting. Never say never, but do say highly improbable.
they should make Wii U commercials that seem retro like the NES commercials. i mean, sure make new and appealing commercials for today's young gamers but also have some commercials with the old school feel and the announcer talking about the power of the console while we see some amazing grapgics and some kid with a bad haircut playing like his life depends on it. that would bring nostalgia!
movie-based games, and superhero-based games have a history of suckage on every Nintendo console ever, so this might be one of those Wii U games we end up ignoring... unless it becomes the exception like the Batman Arkham series. Only time will tell
looks like NFC integration is a good idea. plus four Wii U tablets used at once contrary to popular belief. graphic wise it seems very current gen but it is only a youtue video of a WIP so let's see how the finished product looks i' cant wait till E3 so we can get our fix
like it or not we are at the end of an era and trying to predict what will work best for the next generation is still a lot of guesswork. Nintendo is not known to "follow" any trends, they innovate and they set trends for others to follow. so having both digital downloads and physical media is a great way to test the waters. purists might oppose at first, such as myself, but this is how Nintendo always does it: They drag the videogame industry kicking and screaming into the next generation and we all love it once we experience it.
what if instead of announcing about things we know are in the works, they actually give us some news instead? like any new ip's being worked on, or anything new we dont yet know about? i dunno like new feature or new game or something? any chances of nintendo bringing back star tropics?
while that means no Mii's for Mario 4, it doesn't mean no Mii's for "new super mario bros wii u" i strongly feel they should be two different games. or 3 different games if we consider an entirely new fully 3D adventure.. but i have to remind myself that i'm just wishing.
sounds like someone didnt review their contract prior to signing it... next time read thoroughly, ask for any revisiones to the contract that you might think are more reasonable, and then, ONLY then release the game on their platform. don't make hasty uninformed decisions and then complain about it later. why is it that you don't see other companies complaining about the amount of units before payment or any of that other nonensense. keep your mdk to yourself, the world will manage to continue with or without it somehow.
I sure hope this isn't the rumored "Super Mario 4" title. Honestly, one cannot showcase the power of a console with a side scrolling game, regardless of it having 3D graphics. The best thing to do with Mario for Wii U is along the lines of a Super Mario Galaxy game that does NOT involve rounded worlds like that. Maybe a blend between Mario World, Mario Galaxy, and a bit of Mario 64. Some Mario 3 power ups are more than welcome of course. But, I still believe "Super Mario 4" should be 2D title entirely, with brand new power ups but keeping in the same line as the first 3 mario's... Take a good look at what Capcom did with Megaman 9, or what Konami did with Contra Rebirth and Castlevania Rebirth.
