Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Digital Pricing

Nardar

At first I didn't agree but now I agree because it is not complicated and you have a choice and choices are good.

When it comes to getting a game digital, it really comes down to what the game is and how often you will play it. NSMB2 is tough because it is a game I play like crazy until I beat and get everything from it, then don't come back to it after a while.

Hey Thom, it's ironic you mentioned Animal Crossing and Demon Training as good digital downloads because I was thinking about that yesterday.

I think what would help their digital success would be to do something that if your 3DS got lost or stolen, you could somehow recover your downloads instead of starting completely over.

Re: Some Club Nintendo Coin Values Will Change on 1st July

Nardar

For the record all Post Play surveys will be ten coins not matter the game. Anything you have registered now will not be deducted. (Which would be stupid for them to deduct your coins after they asked you to do the surveys.)
The big 3DS titles you can still get the same value of coins on 7/1 as you do now.
Anything that has been released in June will not deduct in coins. (Nintendo Selects Pikmin 2) for example.
The e-shop games I don't mine because you only loose 5 coins which isn't that big of a deal. You probably will have 100 to 200 coins per year for e-shop games.

Re: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Trailer is Informative

Nardar

Again, I don't mind the change but it better be like Lost Levels difficulty. The reason why so many people are so down about this game is that from what we've seen there is nothing exciting about it that makes you want to play the game other than collecting coins.

Re: Bigger Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed

Nardar

I have to say I put Zelda Four swords on my 3DS and my DSi XL, and the DSi XL barely wins in sound. I was shocked. So to me unless you obviously don't have a 3DS, I think it is a bad move for Nintendo. Don't forget, if somehow they make it to where you can play 3DS games on the Wii U GamePad, this could be a questionable move.
I agree completely that this should have been out day one and the $250 price would have seemed reasonable.

Re: Feature: The Future of GameCube on Wii U

Mike I can't believe you forgot Mario Kart Double Dash. As long as they have:
Mario Kart Double Dash
Super Mario Sunshine
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Luigi's Mansion
I will praise Nintendo!

Re: Monster Hunter 4

Nardar

Well I see MH4 possibly coming to USA because Japenese does have 3G and 3G hasn't even been out a year yet.

Re: First Impressions: New Super Mario Bros. U

Nardar

I will be getting this game once I get a Wii U because I always love these games. I have mastered every NSMB game and both are unique. With the graphics upgrade it will really feel "New" life to the series. I just don't know about the up and coming NSMB 2. With getting a lot of lives in that one, it better be like Lost Levels difficulty!

Re: Wii U Will be a 'Great Value Proposition'

Nardar

I hope that it comes with the system, GamePad, cables, they should put Nintendo Land. I also hope they put what we need to transfer our Wii stuff to Wii U in there. Now I wonder if they will now sell GamePad's separate. I would like a Pro controller but it isn't a must. I say around $300-400.
