@Ricardo91 There is a thing called "Quick Save" that do that job in other portable FF titles. That still doesn't justify that. I mantain my opinion about the remakes save system.
@Mickeymac Are you the same guy that complained about EarthBound battle system being to much Dragoon Quest-esque? And now you praise NES FF simplyfied interface? >_> Are you alright?
Oh that! Well that's not an interview, and thats the thing that everyone already knows. It's just speculation (and well suported with solid facts) But as much i think that they might be right, that's still no official confirmation. Starmen.net is not Nintendo.
@MrLopez Could you give us a link please. It should be interesting to everyone here that want to read it.
(And please say that isn't that joke interview they made for 1th april joke one year ago >_> This one here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRQkXJAcKHo Because it's the only one interview i can find.)
@kbdlock The version you got in the USA on SNES is >>NOT<< the Easy Type. It's based on Easy Type on some stuff but it's not the same. (For example, Easy Type had the special abilities like "Dark Wave", "Pray" etc. and Zeromus had a difrent battle sprite.) So please don't induce people to error
@Adamant I didn't say it was good, i said it was not as bad as you describe it. It's true that it's too much easy, and i don't know why YOU CAN SAVE EVERYWHERE, seriously if they wanted to have a more confortable save, put it only on the world map, like the SNES ones. But it have extra dungeons with 20-40 floors, more bosses and things like music player that are good extras, that why i have the PSP one, because of those extras. But yes i enjoyed more the PS1 more, it was more chalanging and was the first time i played FF1 here on Europe.
@Stuffgamer1 FF:II is very, but very underrated. Anyone that says it's the worst final fantasy, it's because they can't handle a chalange. It's too much hardcore for them XD /// And for the others, the lack of auto-target is not a flaw, it's just another way to play an RPG another gameplay mechanic.
@Stuffgamer1 if you have money for 240 channels you have money for a new SD card
///
Now for every people in general that is like "this should have been there in the first place" just shut up, because this solution is free, so that's not a valid excuse. Since past is past, and you don't lose money.
@Adamant Can you actually have some fun while playing RPG? O-o'
I know, I know the GBA/PSP is too much easy, but please aside of that have some neat extras. (Psst, but hey i actually like the NES ver. more ) And 6 was awesome (but i like 5 gameplay better)
@J.K. That's not an translation. That's called a load crap of text.
@LinktotheFuture Please just say FF4 and FF6 for the sake of our sanaty (to avoid confusion) >_>
This one was considered a revolution in japan because you didn't have a shot-limit (like only 2 shots in screen) so you could spam the button and use auto fires, that were a "revolution" at the time. But aside of that (and nowadays it's worth nothing that "unique" shot-thingie) it's a not-so-great shoter
@Adamant >_> They're not that bad, actually putting asside the fact that they are too much easy, they have better interface, bestiary, better translation, and extra dungeons.
If difficult is an issue go get the GBA or PSP version of FF1 >_> they were MORE but much MORE easy than the original NES one.
And no, i belive that they will change the titles (maybe not in the ROM but outside the ROM i am pretty sure, you know menu's names and stuff.) They have good reasons for doing that and if i am not wrong, there is some VC game that have a difrent name from the original version.
@cr00mz Each one have a story of their own. (thats why the direct sequels like X-2 and IV The After have the same number on the title) So you can pick one without having played the others.
Yes thats right my first one was 7 because of that. But of course that didn't stop me loving FF1-6 after they released them in europe on other Systems. Especially 5 and 6 ^^
The problem is that is that Square actually will waste time for translating old rom files? For so few quick money?
(But i will predict that they WILL change the title screens of the original english FF4 and FF6) (I also hope that they will give us a full version of the 4, you know with the special attacks that they removed from the JP one for example, but sadly, i doubt)
saves can't be read from the SD, but of course they can stil backed up to the SD card as always.
And it's pretty obvios why the wii doesn't read saves form the card. The acidental overwrite is one of them (Duplicacion of the same save is the more obvious).
This actualy good news, Game Boy and Game Boy Advance Games?! YAY I hope that gets more suport and that we also can buy Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket and others portable devices' games ^^

@Link79 Not that again, the numeration was corrected in several re-releases outside jp and some even on Nintendo Consoles (GBA and DS as FFIV). So forget the old US numeration for our good sake ;P FF2:Is Firion's Final Fantasy FF4:Is Cecil's Final Fantasy This is the sequel to Cecil's Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy IV ;D
EDIT: If you also want to know Terra's FF also was corrected too, to Final Fantasy VI The rest is the same, since the first one is really the first and at FFVII, Square droped that numeration.

This one worth the buy even if you have one or more of the remakes.
Because this little boy is very difrent from the remakes, oposite to the SNES's ones.

As far as i know it was only in USA.
But i might be a little wrong.

Look at the bright side.
You got better graphics and more extras
So it wasn't a bad purchase after all XD

Yes NES & SNES FF to VC.

the originals Final Fantasy II, III & V.
Gosh i love V
Re: SD Card Game Launching + Arcade Games Available on VC Now!
@Stuffgamer1
If you go to memory management after you use the SD menu.
You see that the wii reserves the space for that
Re: SD Card Game Launching + Arcade Games Available on VC Now!
@RGVEDA
It's the sequel to the original FF:VI
Which is a port from the JP Mobiles.
...Yes it's a new game for us english speakers
@Tony
No. I just updated my wii and gone to the shop.
