@Jockolantern Maybe because it's a spoiller? "Mister Traveler" start the game with amnesia and you only know the truth about him, only if you meet certain conditions (the same to unlock the extra "true" final level.)
@StarBoy91 Actually you can play them in any order you want. (If you want, the "retro" of Mother 1 maybe it's too much to bear sometimes ) The only thing they have in common are just the recurring villains. Gyigas (Mother 1 & EarthBound) and Porkey (EarthBound & Mother 3).
@Bass X0 What Tails did to you? >_> I can understand Werehog or Silver, that are associated with bad stuff in recent Sonic Games... etc... But Miles "Tails" Prower? Sonic 2? Too much picky people these days...
On topic, i have 500 spare points, guess i will wait for it, maybe for Gunstar or something...
@KeeperBvK They are all text-heavy yes, and it's one of it's strong points. (The battle screens are from Starmen.net's Fan Translation, just for warning you, you don't have this on english in the jp version.)
In the moment Bayleef evolved into Meganium... They did it. (I was really lucky to see the ending, i got to the site like 1min before that)
(And actually i didn't see why the dogs are an issue, it's enter and exit the same location to help the odds and use moves that prevent escape from battle, like lock-on, or bind etc...)
facepalm Or you can't read, or you just want to argue... I'm not saying that the game wasn't "made" for the fans in "mind", i'm not saying that the game was made for new players. I'm saying that the people who will win something with this ports, even if Capcom didn't port it for them as the representant said, are the ones who didn't play them on the first place, no matter Capcom says it's for "fans" or "aliens" or "dogs". As you say if they used HD sprites etc etc etc... of course that would meet the "fans" expectatives. But since it's a port, AS I SAID BEFORE only people who didn't play will win somethig with this, a classic game for a low price deal.
Now, if you're not happy, instead of manipulate my comments to look what they aren't, just don't buy the game. i'm not Capcom, so i can't do anything as much i wanted, talking to me won't solve anything.
I'm not defending Capcom, i love Capcom games, but i hate their business practices like pre-made DLC. People spoke about an "HD" PC Ace Attorney that didn't even exist, that's why i posted that, manipulation of Info is what i hate. And by your point of view, I can't play Pokémom because Nintendo made it for children, that's doesn't make sense. The ones who win with this ARE the NEW people to the Ace Attorney Series. The DS version is rare, and if you find a copy you will waste more money than this version, it's a fact not an opinion (in this matter).
I see that are some confused persons about the PC version, the one that was released that is, not "new/rumor" projects. It's only in japan, it's the port of the GBA version (Wiiware is the DS one), and it's only the 1-4 cases from the first game. No Skye's Case, No Justice for All, No T&T.
I already played them, but i don't own them, i will gladly pay for them. And as you might see, this version is ideal for everyone that didn't played the series, it's very cheap for a game is very hard to find and probabbly the copies you find are on full price.
EDIT: Actually Justice for All and T&T are also on JP pc, but as the other one, they are straight ports. EDIT2: http://blog.capcom.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/saiban04.jpg http://blog.capcom.com/archives/996 Here's a screen and post of the "High Quality" of the PC version of Ace Attorney, from Capcom Blog, as evidence.
^As you in the DS version, you didn't really need to shout OBJECTION! to present evidence, on the wii version is the same thing with the motion (for the looks of it, you can just press - )
This version is really for people who didn't play AA, (Phoenix says: -BUY IT!). For others, let's just wait for Miles Edgeworth:AAI
@Terranigma As you may know, the Phoenix Wright arc. of the AA series was originally released on GBA, the DS version that we get were ports. It seems that the 2º game and 3º are in full by 1,200 in japan The first one in the GBA have 4 cases, while on the DS it had an extra new case. For the looks of it you buy the 4 original cases of the 1º game by 900 in japan, and the extra DS episode by 300, so if you want to have the 5 cases of the 1º game, it's the same price as the others, 1,200.
The game that started it all... The music is awesome, and the plot twits on this are really suprising. (But you have to start with this one, because the latters have too much spoilers for these) This looks it only will be the 4 cases from the 1º one. the 5º one it was an DS extra, but i'm glad it will be available to download as an extra game.
After i played Zack&Wiki, i was convinced that Point & Clicks is a great kind of game to play on Wii. And i LOVE Ace Attorney, i will buy ALL of them ^^ yay. (Even i already beat all of these cases)
