Everybody else in the industry is busy with "Mature, Genre-Defining Storytelling Experiences". Up to a point where its all about the story, all about the production-values while they forget about the gameplay. There is need for a company such as Nintendo producing exactly what they have been doing, with gameplay at priority number one.
It's a nice touch to communicate the upcoming Nintendo Direct. Great to have him on my system and the puzzle piece was very welcome. They should do this more often
As per your ruleset DIALGA63, who is more the fool ? The fool, or the fool who follows him? I'm just seeing a debate among people about a game, what does that have to do with getting a life ?
@vegeta044 When you transfer to a 3DS holding a pre-installed game, the accounts just merge with the pre-installed game added to your eShop download list. I've done this with my white 3DSXL+MK7 bundle.
I'm glad Nintendo Europe launched the full White 3DSXL last year. There's certain charm to the pink/white, but I don't see myself carrying one around. I did however buy the pure white one, excellence and graceful.
Sometimes to experience something that is out of the ordinary or different from the mainstream games, one have to look beyond shortcomings. At least that's my usual approach when I feel the urge to buy something that looks quite like shovel ware. I've gone ahead and bought it online for a cheap prize, I has it's issues as the review outlines perfectly, but the concept of firefighting remains interesting and fun to do.
@Hale-Bopp Reviews are just an opinion, so at the end I do not let myself get influenced to heavily. Played to many sub-par scored games in my life I really loved and to many so called "OMG 10/10 !" games I ended up not enjoying. Guess only I can be the judge for myself. Reviews are however a good indication what to expect and one can't deny certain shortcomings which are beyond a matter of opinion.
Biggest problem of 3DS advertising is any footage or screenshots don't do the actual game any honors. That's why I like footage that is captured off-screen, cause you get a better sense on how it looks on the 3DS. But in the end, especially for the 3D, you have to experience it on the 3DS and that proved to be quite a marketing challenge for Nintendo.
@JuanitoShet Difficult remains subjective. The spotlight here is how The Lost Levels compares to the other Mario games, one cannot simply deny the increased difficulty in that regard.
There's some tough competition out there for Nintendo, with (lower priced) XBOX360's and PS3's flying out the door with an utterly massive software library one can pick up at very cheap prices.
There's not much added value I think, well not when it requires a special cartridge and Circle Pad Pro. On the flip side, interaction between the Wii U and 3DS would be a welcome thing, if thought out well.
While Sony is thinking about stopping used games for it's Playstation 4, Nintendo is encouraging it Seriously, that's a major flaw / oversight if this is true and reproducible.
Stop supporting the platform? Pretty arrogant by Renegade Kid. How about us, the paying customer, stopping to support them? Don't start crying before bitten.
Bought it recently, just love it. Surprisingly deep given the limited tools developers had at the time. Pure nostalgia too, was awesome at the time, is still awesome today.
