Wii U just needs a system seller like a new Zelda or Super Smash Bros, OR... a NEW IP.
Also, I think they should release an actual Pokemon game (not Stadium, but a real one) for the Wii U and have it have Cross Save with a 3DS version. Take it on the go or play it on the TV, its your choice. INSTANT SALES.
It's been a rough year for Nintendo's home console. While COD means nothing to me as I have all the consoles and a gaming PC and I only play the campaigns on COD once and then I'm done.. it means something to a lot of gamers and it sucks for people who only own the Wii U and can't afford any other console or just a loyal Nintendo fan. This would be a huge blow to Wii U owners if they can't even get the seemingly 998th installment of Call of Duty for it. Hate to say it guys but it looks like Nintendo is going this generation almost alone. On the bright side, I still am looking forward to the first party games coming out for it, especially Super Smash Bros. Nintendo almost always delivers when it comes to their own games, which is why I got a Wii U on launch date and still satisfied with my purchase.
This doesn't bother me and I was concerned about one version holding back the other, so to speak, so now I know that both versions will give you a reason to own both. (In my own personal experience, this is the downfall of PS3 vs. Vita versions as they're usually identical). So, I may just have to spend the $100 and get both eventually (starting out with the Wii U version, of course).
Bethesda basically said the same thing and look at some of their games... Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, and Morrowind... those are games you don't want to trade in and you want to keep playing. I usually end up buying Nintendo stuff new because I rarely am able to find them used!
I see no issue with this. Amazon hasn't carried Nintendo products directly for awhile. No one seems to know why. Could be a Nintendo thing, could be an Amazon thing. We don't know. Either way, Amazon is a corporation like any other one out there trying to make money.
As far as handhelds go, I personally have a 3DS, DS, Vita, and PSP. All are excellent systems with high quality games. I don't get the bashing of any of them.
Man If I didn't already spend my money on the Xbox 360 pinball tables I would totally jump on Zen Pinball 2. I highly recommend them. It and Pinball Arcade are the best digital representations of pinball out there. ALMOST as good as the real thing, and in some ways, better.
I'm interested in Mutant Mudds discount. Might have to pick that up.
It doesn't effect me because I don't play Web games on my computer, iPad, phone, or any other device anyway but I can see this being an issue for some. The web browser on the Wii U has been very nice so far and hopefully they will continue to make improvements.
I have a Wii U Deluxe set w/ Nintendo Land. I also purchased New Super Mario Bros U. I also grabbed Nano Assault Neo and Mighty Switch Force from the eShop. Unfortunately, most of the launch games weren't exclusive to Wii U so sadly I already had played through most of them and ZombiU itself I thought was just okay (which most people either LOVE IT or HATE IT). I did love Scribblenauts from my GameFly rental and once Christmas shopping and other stuff eating at my money is over, I do plan on grabbing that title. Once more exclusive titles come out for Wii U or at least launch at the SAME TIME as the other games then we'll probably see more sales.
Didn't developers say the same thing about PS3 that it was too hard to develop for? And look at it now. It just takes time for a console to get great games. We got some good demonstrations at launch and I expect more great games for years to come.
While I thought the download time was a bit inexcusable (although I have no idea how large this update actually was) this is a normal thing with consoles. I would recommend leaving your gamepad on the charger and just walking away for about an hour while it does this. In the end, you get to play a lot of great games with a lot of pretty darn good online features. Also, it automatically disables auto shutdown while its updating so you don't have to worry about that. Just don't be foolish and unplug the system for crying out loud!

Definitely picking up F-Zero. Balloon Fight was worth every penny and F-Zero will definitely be worth that!

I highly recommend Nano Assault Neo to those looking for an exclusive Wii U eShop title and not spend a lot of money on it.

I personally didn't enjoy NSMB2 but I LOVE NSMBU.
