@Hern4ndeZzz no. I wanted 60fps that’s 60fps. That’s not some outlandish demand for a game as old as this one which runs at 60fps on inferior platforms.

After the input lag “fix” the framerate seems even worse. Doesn’t even feel like 30fps.

@deezcronuts Yeah, the notion that in order to be a "realist" you have to accept a lazy port of an old game that's been re-released several times is hilarious.

There are far more visually impressive games running with buttery performance on this system. Clearly a developer rush job. It's possibly Nintendo's fault for not getting dev kits in time, but the bottom line is developers shouldn't release games that aren't ready yet. This is an industry wide problem. Release it, fix it later.

@ShadLink It's well documented that the input lag is worse than the Switch 1 version. Even Bethesda has acknowledged there's a problem.

Just tested it out. Still 30fps. What a joke.

@SpaceboyScreams Well my "actual argument" was that isolation is a word that has historically gone hand-in-hand with this franchise and is a large part of the appeal, so it shouldn't be a surprise that it comes up quite often below an article about chatty NPCs in this game. I have no problem with people who don't care as much about that, but clearly a lot of people do, and they don't have to spend $70 on it if it's not what they are looking for in a Metroid game. Opting out of capitalism should not offend you either.
