Internet is ***** where I live , and even if it wasn't latency would be awful.
If companies start following this trend we can potentially lose a port of a good game because it's easier for them to just put it on the cloud.

Remember boys, the day the company deactivate the servers for the game is the day you'll never be able to play it again.

I use mine almost 100% handheld but when I'm not playing i leave it on the dock so it's almost always charging.

I don't browse the eShop anymore. It's show and awful to find games and check deals on my wishlist. I just use and wishlist everything through DekuDeals and just open the eShop when I've decided to buy something.

I'm waiting for a REAL sale from them because their games are already more expensive on Switch, so a REAL sale would be something like 70% off or more.

So, this means that saber was learning how to port with Vampyr (that game's performance is really bad) and then moved on to Witcher.

I didn't know it was the same devs, but that explains a lot now.

It's a shame, I've finished Vampyr despite the graphics and performance being so bad and still loved the game, would replay it to get the other ending if not for those flaws.

Yeah, but despite the reviews it still looks like a mobile game...

I can't stop comparing it to BOTW and thinking they can't be the same prices.

I have a 128gb one. While i certainly would like to have more space, the truth is i don't need it. I have something close to 32 games installed at the moment. Of those, the only one I've played (to death, by the way) is dark souls. All the others are part of my backlog (of shame).

So i actually think it's not that important to upgrade my SD card since i won't play more than 2 or 3 games at the same time (and then you can just erase the ones you know you won't come back to and download new ones).

How about you put the release date on the article for people who can't (or don't wanna) watch the video?

If it's 60, this will be another old game port along with Skyrim, Diablo etc that i'll avoid.

@PhilKenSebben because the game can launch broken. It can run at 15fps... It can have breaking bugs etc... And sometimes it never gets fixed.

The switch does not have a single game that i remember that took me more than a day to download, so I don't see the point of preload really...
But, to which their own i guess.

You can just buy it day one if you want... No need to give up your money before you can even play the game.

@Yogsoggoth i was a PS4 owner and did want to buy a switch. Portability is key here. Some people (including me) would trade 4k for 720p and being able to take the game you want to play anywhere.

The way the switch is going, right now, is looking like it's a 3DS successor, and not a home console successor, if that makes any sense.

I mean, there's much more "portable" games than "console" games.

I miss having a great AAA Sim racing game. Xbox for Forza, ps guys have Gram Turismo... I wish we could get something like that, although the lack of analog triggers are really a bummer ..

I can agree with the switch having it's best year in 2019... However, there are 2 things to consider:

1 - lack of a new hardware from Sony/MS will help push it's sales since most active gamers already have a PS4/Xbox

2 - Sales of the console might not continue to be this great after the new consoles get to the market, specially if the switch still lacks big game names for people who just don't care about Nintendo franchises.

So, my advice for Nintendo would be to start immediately making deals with third parties to include switch on their planned releases and also paying for the development of some exclusives.

Astral chain and bayo 3 are nice, but it need a From Software exclusive, talk to Activision to bring some special call of duty to the switch (or make a marketing deal to promote the game with switch banners and stuff, like the other companies do).

Make the mass gamers aware that the console will have all other games and that they don't need a ps5 or xbox3 to play the latest Battlefield, or Need for Speed, or gta or whatever...

Sure, playing Indies are great on the switch (just finished steamworld dig 2, love it!) buy i miss seeing some big names on the eshop.

I've played that King Fu game back in the day... It' was actually pretty cool, way before i knew street fighter 2.

Of course they're gonna say they have more games. It would be really stupid of Nintendo to say "nope, those are the only games we have this year, sorry".

I want them to show us the games and tell us the release dates. Why all the secrecy? The furthest game to launch this is year is a maximum of 11 months away, enough time to create hype and not too far away to create a problem.

They announced prime 4 with just a logo 2 years ago... If there's games to launch this year they have to be in playable state by now.
