So they are giving us DS games? I feel like we may get Chrono Trigger soon! As for me, I never owned DK64 or SM64 so I'll be buying these two ASAP.

(Yeah, I know. I only played Zelda on my N64).

I hope we can get a sequel to Majora's Mask or just something that explains the salesman's origins. He's one of the most interesting and creepy characters in the series. Who really is he? Where is he from? How does he reset time if you run out?

There's a lot more to him than meets the eye, that's for sure. It's a shame MM never went into detail with a lot of characters/places in the series. I wanted to know more about Majora's past and what it truly is, who/what the Fierce Diety is (possibly an arch-nemesis of Majora?), the salesman, Termina itself, and more. In the manga (non-canon) the salesman is strongly hinted to not be human and is conspiring something evil to the point that Link tries attacking him.

Damn it, Nintendo...

As someone who doesn't like turn-based RPGs, save for Chrono Trigger and Eternal Sonata, would this be a game I might like? I never played it originally but am considering it for the Wii U Virtual Console.

People on this website seriously need to do their research. This exploit can't lead to piracy because it doesn't allow kernel access. As someone who wants merely custom apps on his 3DS (although GBA/SNES games would be nice) I am thrilled for this and hope to get CN cheap so I can do it.

If I can start playing SNES and GBA games I will do this in a heartbeat. I only hope that regardless of what happens that cheaters don't come in and ruin online games like Mario Kart and SSB.

Honestly I don't care about features for this on the New 3DS. If they make a limited edition MM 3DS I will buy it in a heartbeat, especially if bundled with the game.

I have a 3DS XL and if they make a custom edition of the new 3DS (whatever it's called) that isn't ugly I will buy it. Only way to get me to get the new one that still is Japan-only at the moment. But this game is my favorite in the Zelda series and regardless of what happens with the 3DS itself I cannot wait to pick this up.

I am a bit baffled at the time though. This took them a year or so to make and yet they've been working on the port for three? I wonder how long Ocarina of Time 3D took to port. I mean Majora's Mask re-used OoT's engine and assets. It's basically the same game with rearranged objects and different text. How hard could this be?

If you guys want a good place to start then go with either Circle of the Moon or Aria of Sorrow (this one in the review). Both are excellent. I must say that AoS seemed a bit shorter than the other two in the GBA series and I heard it was due to using a bit more space on the GBA gamepack for music than everything else. The sound quality in it is much better than the other two so I agree.

But still either are great. I just finished Harmony of Dissonance and disliked how I spent almost half my game time running around the castle due to no quick warp system that the other two have. At $8 each CotM and AoS are great buys.

This just made my day. I LOVE the original DKC trilogy and can't wait to buy these in the NA e-shop if/when they make their way to it. Good news like this should be mandatory for journalists worldwide to be posted on Monday mornings...

@BossBattles Finally someone understands things. This is just political correctness and anyone who supports it is being ridiculous. You can't see the characters genitalia or anything and it has no effect on game design, so why does it matter?

For the more extremist ones, does it make Nintendo sexist? Is it sexist that there is no male Samus? Is J.K. Rowling a sexist for Harry Potter being a guy and not a girl named Mary Potter? What people need to focus on is the quality of games throughout the industry, not something as trivial as gender.

It's the absurdity of this whole issue that makes me say "No" to a female Link so maybe people will focus on something more important.

I own a Wii U but WILL be picking up a PlayStation 4. I will not buy an Xbox One. PS4 has excellent games and such that I want (e.x. first party titles) while the Wii U has some great Nintendo games I want.

The Xbox One has Halo, and that's it. Tired of Microsoft's crap, been taking it for almost nine years now. It's time to switch things up.

I'm kind of disappointed to see this turning into a 2D game. To me it seems like that will take away from the mood of the game. I know 2D games can be good (e.x. Limbo) but still, I'd rather this be 3D. Oh well, if this comes out I'll pick it up anyway. Wanted it since it was first announced in '06 or so for the Wii and am very surprised to see it's coming back.

So they are not going to just drop support and move on to the successor like Sega did with the Saturn. That's good to know as I got a Wii U last November (2013) and want to get my money's worth for it.
