I think this is a good idea, if they go full on with branding most Nintendo products red (red cases as well) it will help them stand out more in stores and be easily distinguished from the blue and green of PlayStation and Xbox.
@Mister_Wu Unfortunately I don't think so, I had a look at Earthbound (which I have on the Wii U) and it still gave me the option to buy the NN3DS version at full price.

I'm so glad that I held of buying a couple of games from the eShop for the past few weeks, already started accruing those Gold Coins!
