my first, last and only megaman game i had back then, couldnt afford MM3, which i also liked
i might buy this one later
i knew dr. wily's weakness, so was easy to do
not gonna tell, cuz thats spoiling the fun for others
was very nice game, so am thinking of buying on VC, cuz i dont have the nes cartridge anymore

hmm, i heard about that glitch, tried once but failed, and never really bothered to try again (yes on snes... no emulator)
mana fortress is very big indeed, but someone who played and completed SoM for lots of times (like myself) can do it in no time
thats why i will make challenges in SoM once i got it on VC, cuz i always did the story, and never made challenges, but VC will change that, so let them put in on VC in europe very soon (still hoping)

btw, the trick to do the game some easier (except for asking me to help) is lvling a lot

i think people dont like it cuz it has a different fighting style and is hard for those who are new at it
comparing this to other zelda's , is wrong, because there were just 2 zelda's on the nes, and those just have different styles, just like how OOT is different from zelda 1 on nes, they are totally different games (except for saving zelda, green suit and sword)
this zelda is more rpg then other zelda's, cuz here you have to fight to gain power, life and magic, kinda new challenge
i dont try to "protect" this game, cuz its not my favorite zelda, but i DO like it and i dont like it that people always compare old games to newer ones, like nes games comparing to snes or n64 games

what i think is this: it's most of the times just about people's past/youth with these old games
retro games are mostly for those who have had nice times with these games back then

i'll buy this game later, and this time i try to master it more then i did back then

ps. yes, the ssbm/ssbb temple music and stage are based on this game

oh, forgot to mention: i also completed it for 100% (thats including the secrets) and then i got a harder mode, thats same game, but instead of 6, you have 3 HP, so new challenge

not a boss, its in the forest between pandora and potos, near potos actually, there is a yellow animal (looks like one) which let you jump up, there you can get stuck, but no reason to be there, so no worries
as for the wall boss, if you get stuck, you still can hit at least 1 eye, since you stay close at them, and then you have 3 characters, so the other 2 can fight if you cant

ah, was looking at google, but i havent played this, i played adventure island II , which is also imo better then this one, like riding animals, which i completed, i think

this one was cool (also on like 100 or more in 1 cassette)
i enjoyed it, cuz i also learned about how to shoot and how should'nt shoot
but i never came really far, so this might be a chance... later

yes, but it also happened once at the jumper thingy you see between potos and pandora
the game is easy for me, i know most places, forgot a very little
but as i said earlier: i helped my sis and she was through it way too fast, so wont help anymore, sry

i saw that flaw which is especially in the mana fortress (last place)
there you might get stuck in walls or where there are no floors, so watch out for that, cuz if you cant reach a platform for whip-jumping, you'll be stuck forever (not sure, but i think you cant use ropes there)
and if it happens you'll have to start over (reset game) where you saved last time (which was on snes: L+R+Select+start)
with the VC auto state save it might be worse, unless you reset with wii remote (dont know if the 4 buttons still work)
except for that, no problems, because outside you can call flammie(if you're that far)

i played it on nes, was fun for a puzzle game
not sure if i had it on C64, cuz i were very young back then

i remember that slimey enemy, have to lock it up to get diamonds
i think the first level was to learn how it works, nice job by nintendo

i loved this game as much as the other mario bros games
it was different from the normal kind, so its special, but just as good

i find it rather weird when people prefer buying a same game with better graphics, its just the graphics o_O
lot of people i know also say like: nintendo has bad graphics and is childish, but that makes it fun for people.... oh well
i enjoyed the times with this one, and of course with smb and smb 3 too

what i think is that all stars has only 2 better points:
its all in 1 and has multiplayer in smb3

i did play this game, but can only remember the start which looked different from the video :S
was pretty nice game, i just didnt play much, cuz i had better games (imo)
again people hate a game because of that weirdo nerd, who should fight the games from these times instead
people should first play a game themselves, if they are from those times with nintendo, before looking at the nerd, cuz he has bad influences at some pretty nice games (for those times)

i myself dont even look at others ratings, i just look at my own, thats best, believe me

i too want kirby superstar, but nintendo has its own plans, if we all could do it, then i guess we'd have lots of other games here by now

i never played this one, but i might play pinball to kill time, and to improve my pretty bad reflexes, this looks good, smaller pinball games had mostly just 1 screen, this one has 3 (right?)

hehe, well, they released it in america, so why not in europe, i think its very popular, so they wont decline and miss lot of money

btw, theres a trick to get twice as much maps, i think it was: load a map, go back to menu and its changed, no need to save
except for map 000, which changed as soon as you see it, then to change em back, just select another map and return to the 1st map
so: 999 maps? nope, way more

i have it, its pretty new to me, since i didnt play this for like ages
but i'll get used to it once again

actually i meant hacking like that noone can use it, until we got it, so that they have to give it.... as a joke i wasnt serious
i never knew that could be done, changing your wii's region

lets wait for the europe release of SoM now, and hope it'll be here as soon as possible
and yes, roms are crap, its not the feeling of real gaming

me too played this on nes, i only have so many games i want atm, not sure if i buy this, but it was fun back then

this one was kinda hard until i got used to the controls, and i too like the multiplayer mode, its just that if you play it to go through the game, you have to wait for each other a lot

i dont know it, but did read good things about it at double dragon comments, and after watching the video i thought: cool, same fight style, but rpg-ish

i think it might actually be worth my points ( after SoM )

imo mario kart wii is too much a racing game then having fun in it, and always doing stuff with 8 characters isnt fun, i rather play with 2,3 or 4 when battle or racing then wanting to play with like 1 other person and have to share points with teams
i like duals more then whole tournaments in a game i play offline
mario kart wii isnt bad, but i like snes and N64 mario karts better, thats my opinion

Edit: i know !! would be better in mario kart wii if you could choose how many are going

i'll buy this after i used current points, but not sure whether i use next card, or card after that, lol, so many choices in VC

i didnt play this for long, but thats cuz i wanted final fight 2, which is multiplayer
its awesome game to fight, the 2 best ones are double dragon 2 and final fight 2 imo, mostly for multiplayer, but also cuz i know them best (that also is cuz of multiplayer)
so wont buy this one in case final fight 2 comes on VC, which i will buy once it is here

this game is really old, my birthyear too
my dad played it a lot on C64, and i tried it too, but was no game for me, cuz i was very young when i tried, lol
i think no other version beats it, cuz this is the real one and is almost the same as Impossible Mission II, but has some different styles, and nr 2 was the last one i played

i hope more C64 games will be here, cuz theres 1 i dont remember its name, which i played, had fruit in it, was arcade and had to pick up the fruit to make an exit to next level, i loved it but cant remember the name

i just bought it, now have 800 points left for SoM, after that i have to buy wii points card again
lot of younger people i see (hear) say that bad graphics makes a game bad... oh well, i ignore that nonsense, cuz i think lot of em play things like tetris or similair games

i still have to get used to it again, lol, didnt play such old rpg in a while without cheats ( i use emulators with cheats to play around)
its fun to have such game again, so i enjoy old times in new generation now i love it

i saw super mario rpg, but i think SoM has better graphics, if thats what you mean
i cant subscribe the graphics, its not cartoonish, pixel-ish (like older games) or real-looking
someone i knew back then called it manga-style

it has pretty nice story imo, but even better challenges for new ones
then what i like most of the game (except my own feelings about this one)... i think its fun with magic and all the weapons

2 words: a real rpg (oh thats 3 ) and some funny text, some sprites (characters) look funny too

if you played old rpg's and still like em, then its a mustbe imo

well, i know both this game and lost levels, but i prefer this one... guess i played too much SMB back then

i always played this street fighter, i knew the trick to get like 20(?) stars and when i tried on 5 stars after a while, i sucked at it
i can be pretty slow, but that game needed turbo for me i guess
was fun to play with M. Bison

i just played it because i wanted to get as far as possible, maybe a challenge for me, and wanted to make it through, so no matter how many times i died, i had to try again and again

SSBB reminded me of this annoying devil, some ssbb levels get hard with this one from assist trophy

it was a nice challenge for me, so i give it 4 stars

it was a fun game, but i had double dragon 2 before playing this one and i (still) prefer that one
i do remember the vs mode, was also fun, playing as bosses (if i remember correctly)
and i agree with RetroNL, its fun to fight baddies on the street, so if double dragon 2 will be released on VC i buy
this game never really attracted me much, but nr2 did

we can play police without weapons (we take those from the bad guys ) it still gets 4 stars

(double dragon 2 will get 5 stars, but then it has to be on VC first )

another great zelda game, i enjoyed it a lot
cant remember what the hardest part was, but the easiest parts were: getting sword + shield, deku tree, ganondorf and ganon, lol
will buy later

any game with fans is good, but we have different opinions
i like this game, i had goldeneye and MK64 as my favorites
this mario kart game was the last one i liked, double dash wasnt fun anymore, mario kart wii however, somehow is fun too
imo super mario kart is nr1, but this one is 2nd place for me, the only thing i dont like from mario kart wii is that battle mode cant be done with 2,3 or 4, must be done with whole groups.. too bad

this game had me being busy a long time, same with the snes mario kart
i love it, i'll buy this one later
as for the courses, i love rainbow road most of all, and know a trick to make it shorter, but sometimes it works, and other times it dont
just jump over the walls near the start, but 50% of failing, and then you're bad as being last

i found it by trying to jump off of it, since it has a wall, unlike smk, playing around gave me 1st place without knowing that trick, lol

yea, it can be hard for new ones in SoM, but once you get used to it, you can defeat the endboss
i made it through long ago at snes, even before i had N64 without looking at internet, since we didnt have it back then and noone helped me, no... worse... i had to help others cuz i was best in this game

once i got it on VC i wont quit it and make challenges for myself:P
it has 4 save games anyways

i agree, but i never got chrono trigger legal, just rom, but its not the same, i prefer controllers just like i have secret of mana for snes, both rom and original, but controllers and console feel way better, especially on wii now, cuz i have no room for snes, and all games on 1 console is best of all
and not just 2 players, can also be 3 with another friend, or bro or such

i wish they will be able, and release, chrono trigger on VC
to be honest i really cant play much on emulators, it gets somehow boring way faster then using VC

as for now, i'm gonna wait for SoM, and will look for more games i wanna download now... in VC BUT, i'll keep 800 points for SoM

i liked this game a lot, but i rather now buy TMNT 2(nes) and turtles in time, which i like better, not only the levels are better, but also multiplayer
lets hope they add more turtle games, like those 2 i mentioned
i just listened "Tunnel Scene (X))" music from ssbb, and looked like a turtle game music, not sure which one, and thx to that music i remember this one in VC, but i prefer the 2 other ones

about this one... i'm not sure if i buy, but i had looooong and happy times with it, it was a great game (and not just this one) to distract myself from reallife problems
i'd like to thank nintendo for it, but i think it came to an end (with this game)... but i might change my mind later, maybe

old school game, lol, i played it a lot, but guess was too young, or too slow, for this, so didnt play it much, but its funny (especially now that i grew up and have internet, so i can check how the game works)

it was my father's favorite game, and before i found this site and VC itself, we talked about it alot, now he's surprised that its back on console from these times
i think last time i played this one, was on snes cartridge, again a .... in 1 or it looked like this one
nice to see it back

i dont think i know a person around my age who dont know this game (and who's busy with computers/consoles)
its such an old game, if bored, you always have this game to play, its simple and a kid can control it
also i made ssbb level of this game
i give it 5/5 for its easy control and for the time when it was made
because for back then it was a popular game, for me, too

oh and btw, can anyone tell the differences between this old one and the newer ones (except for prices) ? because i dont get it, its a simple game, if you change this then its not the same anymore i think

SoM has 4 save datas, so 1 will be my own old team, normal adventures, 1 with challenges like getting very high lvl before mantis ant (first boss) and weak (or no) armor is good one, too, maybe the 2nd without armor, and 3rd at high lvl(maybe max) before mantis ant
4th.... dunno yet
thing is, its not in europe yet, so have to wait.... i'm bad at that

and again have to say it: it was on a xx in 1, i didnt really liked it that much, but i did play it
with this much games from back then, i can actually change my wii into an "old game basis" or something

also made a level from this game in ssbb, kinda hard if you cant fly, but made spikes in the middle, so wont die that easily
