Oh, man. I just returned from one of the best gaming experiences that I had in my entire life !
Awesome game ! Not finished yet, but I'm at the last world (Mad Gear Zone) and thought the game simply amazing! Seriously, in my concept, is the second best Sonic launched, only behind to the first Sonic, surpassing the rest of the Sonic games released so far.
The gameplay is fantastic, super fun, I found the graphics gorgeous and wonderful in 1080P (I pick the PSN version), great songs, the level design is brilliant! I thought physics consistent because it respects the concept of inertia to start slow and then reach higher speeds and handle Sonic speeds fabulous.
The Homing Attack works great and is still optional, because if you don´t want to use it, there is the possibility of eliminating enemies of the old way. The bonus stage was great, better than the original. The difficulty was well balanced, really enjoyed. There are hidden paths as in previous games of the Genesis.
The acts are longer than I thought. The game is not so short as they say, okay more or less in the middle of the first Sonic in terms of duration. US$ 15 for this game is very cheap for what it is.
Guys, the game was far beyond what I expected. Sega you're to be congratulated because, for me, Sonic returned from a triumphant!
No new entries of Virtual Console even in Japan ? NOOOOOOOOO !! Nintendo, I want my money back. You promisse Virtual Console games all mondays, beacuse this I buyed your Wii. Nintendo, I want my money back.
Arcade Racings much better than F-Zero GX: Outrun 2, Daytona USA, Wipeout XL, Wipeout 3, Wipeout HD, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2 version), Need for Speed Underground. F-Zero is an overrated series.
This is an excellent and well balanced horizontal shmup for SNES. Fine gameplay, very good level design, nice sound and soundtrack. Personally, I think this and R-Type Delta are the best games of the R-type Series.
Ahh, Zaxxon ! The great classic developed by Sega on the faraway 1982. Your beautiful graphics and pioneer pseudo 3D feeling made this a game ahead of your time !
The original Carnival King was a arcade non-violent suitable for all ages made by It (Incredible Technologies) and launched on 2002. This WiiWare version is a port of the original arcade. It´s a fun game with a total of 12 mini-games (+bonus stages) that works very well with the Wii Remote and has a interesting online leaderboard.

@Brainhost The stages of [Sonic 3] in [Sonic3 & Knuckles] aren´t as good as the [Sonic & Knuckles] stages. [Sonic 3] is just average, but [Sonic & Knuckles] is great ! This review doesn't make justice to the game.
Sadly, the "Nintendo Life" site puts the notes of the Nintendo games up there, while of the other companies, same when they are great (deserving 9 or more), it´s almost always 7 or 8.
This irritates me. Please, be impartial and no tendentious for a side, because it´s not only the Nintendo that knows how to do games of great quality.

Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd February 2010 (North America)
@bonham2: In my opinion, this would be the true fair price for donwloads on VC:
NES and Master System: U$ 2.00
TG-16 and Arcade: U$ 3.00
SNES and Genesis: U$ 4.00
N64 and Neo Geo: U$ 5.00
The current prices are very abusive
