Great review, Corbs! I'm so happy to hear some of these positive comments. I've been hearing things about it that have me really worried about the whole thing, but I think I should still just try it for myself and see what I think of it. After all, I enjoyed Step & Roll (when you play it the way you're supposed to) and most long-time fans hated it. I thought this concluding sentence in particular was perfect:
"There will inevitably be some long-time fans disappointed by the game's far tamer level designs and lack of fan favourite Monkey Target mini-game, but those who can open their minds up to something a bit different might actually find the game a fun and engaging experience."
Thank you so much for saying that. That totally put me at ease.
@MeloMan: You can go under your list of Recommended Titles on the NC and see the rating you applied to AYIM. That should suffice for the screenshot, the rest is up to you. Hope that helps.
The more obscure games deserve it. Which would mean none of the games people have already mentioned. Besides, those sell well enough. Why not give the opportunity to smaller developers who are having a harder time selling their games, because not many give them a chance. But that's just my opinion.

Re: Deca Sports Extreme Survives and Gets Rated by the ESRB
I wasn't quite sure what to think when I saw this earlier in the day. Just have to wait for Konami's official word I guess....

Can't wait to check it out — hopefully this week!
Re: Review: Ridge Racer 3D (3DS)
Great review! Nice to know it's still worth getting.
By the way, noticed a typo: "were were bitterly disappointed" -> "we were"
Re: The Ignition Factor
Looks fun. Hopefully we'll get it.
Re: Review: G.G Series: Drift Circuit (DSiWare)
I fail to see how that's Nintendo's fault. They're just releasing the content they're supplied with.
Good review!
Re: Triple Sports Developer Code Monkeys Closes its Doors
What's worse is that a lot of people will simply remember them by the Triple Sports series. Not a good way to close off.
Alas, I still wish them all the best in their respective futures.
Re: Rev Up for Remote Racers on DSiWare Next Monday
Alright, finally a release date.
Re: Exclusive: First Bobby Carrot Forever WiiWare Screenshots

A thank you would've been nice for the typo I pointed out earlier too. Just sayin'.

Great intro. Was the highlight for me. XD

MARIO PARTY TWO!!!
Re: Armada
Same here. I still have the game.
Re: Review: G.G Series: Super Hero Ogre (DSiWare)
Complaining about online play in this case seems silly, IMO.
Re: Download the Soundtrack for Dive: The Medes Islands Secret
@MeloMan: Yep, it's Sunshine. I love that tune too.
Re: Rabbids Travel in Time to Defeat Billy the Kid
Have all the Rabbids game. Pretty big fan of the series. The fact that there's online this time excites me to bits.
Re: Snowboard Kids
What I would give to have this game again.
Re: Exclusive Sneak Peek at Shantae Fan Club Mailer

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th September 2010 (North America)
Better than last week. Some of these have potential, and the update is almost well-rounded.
Re: Ghost Trick Trailer Shows the Park is Susceptible to Strange Events
Quality trailer right there.
Re: And Yet It Moves Competition Winners
Congrats!
Re: Practise Your Balancing with PHYSIO FUN Tomorrow
"Low purchase price"? This likely indicates this was going to be a retail release originally.
Colour me very interested in this whole project. I wonder if it'll be coming to NA.
Re: Nintendo Download: 6th September (North America)
Disappointing for me once again, despite being intrigued by today's only WiiWare game.
Re: Prepare for a DSi and XL Price Crash Stateside
I'm also speculating $200 - $220.
Re: My Planetarium Gazes Out Into the Expanding WiiWare Library
Personally looking forward to seeing how this is handled.
Re: 3DS Unlikely to Feature Achievements System
I have a feeling they're hiding something big.

Sweet! Tablet FTW!
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th August 2010 (North America)
Forget Neo Geo. N64, VCA and C64 support are way more pressing.
Re: Ivy the Kiwi?
Sweet.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th August 2010 (North America)
Very meh... At least it's a smidge better than last week's terrible update.
Re: Dress Up and Throw Down in These Hoopworld Clothes
HoopWorld basketball FTW! And I love the sneakers too.
Re: North America Gets Rytmik from August 23rd
Finally!
Re: Sonic Colours Breaks Sonic Cycle, says Producer
I'm confident this time. Just hope the controls are nailed, cause everything else looks good or really great.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd August 2010 (North America)
I expected a lot better for today. Very meh, overall.
