From the review it sounds as though the combat and gameplay might be quite fun but I won't buy it because I find the heavily sexualized theme and frankly sexist presentation really cringe-worthy. Normally I'm always in favour of enjoying quality gameplay above everything else but it goes a bit beyond the pale for me. I know its got loads of appeal to many people but just disappointed that I'm not going to play a potentially enjoyable game.
Already own toki tori 2+ (amazing game everyone should look into getting) but think I'll be picking up GIana Sisters, Mighty Switch Force and Runner 2 at those prices. All games I've looked at with interest before and not missing out on some great prices!
Very sad news; Toki Tori 2+ was one of my favourite games of the year, feeling engrossing from start to finish. Good to hear they're pushing on with the new company and hope they continue to produce some great games
Agree with all the points in this article. A very small minority of titles on smartphones may make a very large sum of money but the amount of truly dire free content is staggering.
I play a few games on my andoird phone and some are quite fun but I normally always aim for ones that are buy outright games; the micro-transaction system in most is completely infuriating. It ruins the design of the games because all their mechanics have to be built around leaching money from players to generate revenue rather than producing and enjoyable game that generates revenue as a result of its quality.
Like the idea of verified Miis for game developers. Could be a very cool way for them to get feedback from gamers; Miiverse has been an online community that has managed to stay mostly idiot-free really successfully so far; hoping it continues!
Was already excited about this title from the previous video; great to see the developer putting some thought into the WiiU version. Always shows in the final product when they take the time to think about these things properly. As long as nothing crazy appears to make me doubt the game it'll be a day 1 download for me
Disappointed that there weren't a lot of surprises but when looking back at the list of games coming out there's a lot of good stuff in store. Pity about the 2014 release dates though; Mario kart always sells systems
