Re: Bayonetta 2 And The Wonderful 101 To Stay Wii U Exclusive

Jaco

I think Team Ninja did it right, I don't mind how they handled the situation of releasing it after WiiU. I don't like how Ubisoft delayed their product just to put it on the other systems. I don't mind them putting it on the other systems its just when you delay a pretty much completed game to do it is when it pisses me off

Re: Reaction: The Rayman Legends Delay Is a Low Blow, But The Apocalypse Isn't Here

Jaco

I just can't believe they wouldn't release the WiiU version first and then release the other versions. This way they can keep WiiU owners happy because I know tons of people have been waiting to play this game and to delay it just to bring it to 2 different consoles is stupid. The developer didn't wait to release Assassins Creed 3 on all three consoles at the same time so why can't they release the WiiU version of this game first and get people talking about it so when it comes out for the other systems people may be ready to buy it.

Re: First Ever 'Reggie Asks' Delves Into TVii

Jaco

I feel that today's release was to get things running before Christmas, it isn't complete but its a sign of what to come, and so far I think it's pretty cool. All I have is Netflix so I'm disappointed that it isn't working yet but being able to surf through the guide while watching tv is great (Full screen TV, not the little box when you bring up the guide normally) Once DVR support is integrated I think this will be the way I will watch TV.

Yes it's flawed right now, but it isn't complete. Hopefully the future services come sooner rather than later

Re: Hardware Review: Wii U

Great Review Man,

I can't wait to get my hands on the system. Miiverse sounds awesome and I can't wait to see what they'll do to the 3DS when they integrate it there

Re: Molyneux: Wii U Is Good, But It's Not Great

@tsm7 HAHA
But seriously, I really can't see what so hard at looking at two screens. I don't have one yet, but when I tried WiiU out at Best Buy the other day it was fine. Sure it took a minute to get used to it, but that's all it took. Some (if not a lot of) people I guess just have a one track mind

Re: Talking Point: Life Without Wii U Achievements

Jaco

I think achievements/accomplishments are an incentive for some people to explore more of the game. They may not be for every game, like zelda where you don't want spoilers, but others like Mario for the stars you collect would be kinda cool. Plus I think nintendo could have made some cool looking trophies when completing certain accomplishments. Especially on 3ds. You could have a 3d picture/trophy when you complete a game.
Also accomplishments are a neat competition between friends. Even if Nintendo doesn't show accomplishments for every game, they should at least implement a way to compare with friends

Re: Bridgestone Responds to Sony's "Kevin Butler" Lawsuit

Jaco

Bridgestone is not a rival company to Sony (unless Sony makes tires) so Mr. Lambert is fine in that sense. also the contract ended with Sony so he could do what he wanted and the advertisement wasn't directly for Nintendo, its just a promotion from Bridgestone. Sony is overreacting to this and its making them look like little kids who complain to their parents because something didn't go their way.

Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo Focused on Fun, Not Competition

Jaco

@Korbin64
I totally agree with you and have had similar experiances, having grown up with the magic of Nintendo over the years, playing most FPS feel...uninspired, bland. But heres something thats interesting, it was actually miyamoto's idea to make metroid prime a FPS , so what i think the king of games is trying to say is that the market is full of these uninspired fps experiences and that they tend to go more for effect (of violence) than really improving gameplay. Thats just my opinion, i do enjoy some fps....some...
