Considering picking these up. I've played the final fantasy games up to 9, as well as the tactics games and XV, which I actually had a good time playing, despite the hatred it seems to get. I own X/X-2 on PS4, and recently purchased the 360 version of XIII for Xbox One. Still haven't played either of those. My favorite is VIII, though, probably because of the age I was when it came out, but I did play it again a couple years ago and still liked it a lot. Hopefully someday we can get a remaster of it.
I don't know if I will pick this up. I love the game, but it runs very well on the Xbox One X, so a performance downgrade might be very disappointing to play. It isn't even the FPS that is the issue with me, it is the inability to do certain things like 3x speed with large cities. Maybe if this had all the DLC I would buy it, but it isn't worth $40 for portability alone, to me.
I've been playing this game a lot as it is on gamepass for Xbox, and it is great, but I don't know how well the switch will be able to run it, even though I would love to take this game with me. I did just buy DLC for it, though...
