@KingdomHeartsFan we knew the Switch version of DQ XI would be getting more content than the PS4 and PC version. I mean, it was obvious to anyone with half a brain, considering the additional content the 3ds version had, and the fact it was never being released outside of Japan. Only logical the Switch version which would release outside of Japan, would end up with a lot of additional content to make up for a two year wait.
I think after the unexpected (by Square Enix standards at least) success of Octopath Traveler made them realise "holy people really DO enjoy these old school turn based kind of games" and decided to put in some serious effort into DQ XI, especially since it was the very first game announced for the Switch.
@GoldenGamer88 I have been saying for years, we need a proper HD remake (with additional content) of Tales of Phantasia. It's easily one of, if not the most, overlooked games in the series, and considering a ton of the older games have been re-released; why not give the very first game a proper remake.
I don't think it matters how they reveal the console so much as when. They are seriously running out of time for a decent marketing campaign, and a lot of people are quickly losing interest after nothing but rumours about it have been everywhere for quite some time now.
I believe if a Nintendo spokesperson came forward and confirmed or denied even a couple of the rumours, it would go a long way to keeping people interested.
