Re: Talking Point: Are You A Player Or Collector?

Hofnarr

I was a collector. But it got out of hand, so I've made it my rule not to buy a new single-player game until I finished the ones I already have. So over the last year, I played Jedi Outcast, The Witcher 3 and Link's Awakening.
Currently I am tackling the Baldur's Gate Series.
I broke my rule with Mario 3D Allstars, but I do not know if I will ever unseal it.
I have to admit that the rule does not apply to Couch-Multiplayer titles, since I've regularly invited some friends over for Gaming Nights (now suspended due to obvious reasons)

@Mana_Knight
It is to this day my favorite game of all time. And not even because of nostalgia, since, being european, I first got to play it when it released in the Wii VC. I was in my twenties then. One friend recommended Chrono Trigger, another praised Chrono Cross.
I played them both and both were fantastic.
I'd love for a simultaneous release on Switch.
And like every Chrono-fan I'm still hoping for Chrono Break.

Re: Poll: Rate Your Favourite SNES Games

I'd like to think there can be only one 10 and that has to be Chrono Trigger. ALttP, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Super Metroid, Terranigma and DKC2 are all solid 9s. Secret of Mana doesn't quite hold up, so it's an 8 for me. Trials of Mana would have been another 9 were it not for the tiresome lag in menus.
Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse and Aladdin are sad omissions in this list.
