To me the non-appearance at e3 reeks of a change in the console either physically, component wise or ability wise from what it currently is. Thats the only reason to not advertise your product at the biggest audience around
Either its not going to be in a presentable position (ie no working prototype) or the prototype isn't representative of what they plan to bring to market.
@akaDv8R trouble is even if those figures are accurate (VG chartz?) It didn't sell at £40 a pop...its been less than a tenner for years now (it was when I bought my Wii u Christmas 2013) so that 840k more likely only turned in £8-16million, which is pretty low
It also begs the question, what would Nintendo do if the devs of the witcher or something like that turned around and wanted it ported to Wii u...what would they do then? Remove certain scenes or make them put clothes on?
Well this hasn't changed my mind about buying the game as I want to play it and have a weakness for steelbooks!
However I do think its dumb to take this out in a game who's graphic story and depiction of ghosts, horror and serial suicide is far far worse than a couple of bikini tops.
Honestly are they rally trying to shield 18year old eyes from a bikini but let them watch suicide and throat cuttings instead?! Ethical approach is backwards there!
Its so unnecessary and quite annoying that they took it out. What's worse for me is the story cut scene they also censored too...add ons are one thing to remove but story?! ts ridiculous when you put it next to that boss lady from devils third for example
So again, in terms of buying and playing the game itself i couldn't give a monkeys, but I just hate the PRINCIPLE that they did it. I'm not theirs to protect from the evil of bikinis!
On top of a year delay and a non physical release in america the big n do seem to do everything they can to niggle at their audience and limit their demographic
I don't mind if it was a carbon of the n64 version graphics wise, but I hope they improve this side with textures etc if for no other reason than to stop the internet moaning!
The one thing you could do is force the first 10 users to flag a course with one of the following flags; WATCH, DEATHTRAP, REGULAR, FUNNY or whatever, and then add a filter to the course world screen that let's you filter what you see.
Still relying on the users but it would go quite some way to help organise the levels
