@GrailUK He WOULD have if stupid Obi-wan didn't cut off his limbs and leave him to burn to death in lava. Had he been left alone, he would have carried out Palpatines plan flawlessly, and the Empire would have ruled over the galaxy with an iron fist. There would be order, and as a result, stability for all.

We can blame old Ben Kenobi for leaving us with a destabilized galaxy filled with low-life scum and a half-baked empire. Gods, if only he'd been killed in the Jedi Purges...

@Joeynator3000 Definitely my personal favorite meme in the gaming scene. I don't have a PlayStation or an Xbox, of ANY kind, so I don't read many articles about those systems and games for them. So I'm not aware of any "memes" that are a result of those systems.

However, I am NEVER DISAPPOINTED when I read an article about a Nintendo Switch update and how it provides more stability. I love comment sections, of ALL kinds (especially YouTube comments: NOTHING beats YouTube comments), and these articles make them hilarious and fun.

I'm always in for a good time reading comments on articles about the Switch's stability.

@ga3tr0n I'm not the best programmer, but the problem, from what I can tell, is that it's loading dozens of large-sized (file size I mean) images all at once. God forbid they make the file size smaller with some sort of image compression or whatever. I'm lucky I have fast internet, it only takes a second or two for me.

What they need to do is cache these images for longer than the duration you have the shop open. Although this WOULD eat into the Switch's already limited storage/memory, it would be QUITE HELPFUL if they were to cache the (COMPRESSED!) images of some of the games for X amount of time. Although again, I'm not exactly an all-star programmer, so I don't know if this is feasible or not. It would definitely help alleviate stress on Nintendo servers too though, because they wouldn't have to serve up those images every time someone connects to the shop. It's the same reason companies want you to use apps instead of visiting their website: with an app, all of the stuff you see every time you open it is already downloaded: the server doesn't need to, well, serve it to you the same way it does every time you open a non-cached webpage in a browser. Hence, companies like you to have apps because it eases up bandwidth usage on their servers.

I can imagine people with slow internet in rural areas (like DSL or satellite) or who are using older, non-5g mobile hotspots, or in developing countries must have a terrible time browsing this shop. Ironic because if it was better, those people would probably buy more games, because they wouldn't get impatient and give up and close the shop after waiting for 10 minutes. And if you happen to be a person in one of those groups, you have my deepest sympathies.
