I really feel like everyone ignores the fact that this is the way animal crossing has always been from the very first game. Animal crossing has always been about sharing the experience with your friends and family. But for some reason I never really heard complaints about sharing a town until this game. Why didn't these complaints arise during new leaf when only one person could be mayor? I'm just not sure I understand why everyone is so against sharing an island.

It's not that I've ditched my 3DS, I still play it at least once a week, but I'm just not really interested in buying new games for it anymore.
